Your Game of the Year 2018

Red Dead Redemption 2 should win a Guinness for the sheer story length and attention to detail in a simulated environment. Nothing about this game has worn out for me, and looks just as pleasingly photographic thousandfold compared to any 4KHD-compatible game released to date.

Also, it's nice to see Crash and Spyro get their respective nods, this is how you do a remake.

Fallout 76, for providing me with endless amusement and showing me how a gaming company can fuck up at every single step of the way. It succeeded at literally nothing, it failed at every step of the way.
I like to put it this way: Fallout 76 is the 1st lolcow game that actually got released.

(See how I managed to sidestep Star Citizen?)

Uh, La Mulana 2 by default, I haven't played any other 2018 game. it's really good though, I'm 15 hours into it, I'm confused as hell, drawing maps and marking up maps of my own volition and feel super smart when I figure something out and laugh when I step into an instant death trap because silly me, I should have seen the signs.

Can I nominate Divinity Original Sin 2 again because they released a massive update with more content than most AAA games have in their entirety this year for free?
