So I re-read the original thread, and there is a possibility if Chris is convicted on an incest charge (but no other charges such as abuse of an elderly / disabled person or sexual assault), that it could be downgraded to a misdemeanor.

(The incest charge is a Class 5 felony minimum, but it can end up being a misdemeanor based on how the court decides to treat the conviction):

"Class 5 felonies are “wobblers,” crimes that can be either a felony or a misdemeanor, depending on how the crime is charged and, sometimes, how the judge or jury decides to treat a conviction. Class 5 felonies in Virginia are punishable by: 1 to 10 years in prison (when the conviction is a felony), or up to 12 months in jail and a fine of $2,500 (misdemeanor)." (Source)

Chris and Barb live in complete squalor, with neither one being able to provide for themselves or the other. So I think any scenario where the state lets Chris walk free is out automatically. Chris has had run ins with the law before, so this is really going to come down to what kind of plea deal the prosecution will offer.

With the entire internet in a frenzy over this, I’m stunned that basically a ween-paparazzi hasn’t descended on Chris already. I thought there’d be 24/7 coverage. To be clear, I am not suggesting anyone should do this. It is a bad idea, full stop.
I'm kind of surprised there aren't morons out there trying to actively hunt him down and antagonize him.

Whatever happens, I just hope he's kept away from Barb permanently. Barb needs to be put in a nursing home and Chris need to be put in some kind of care home. I doubt he'll get jail time because muh autism

Nothing, all these events have just been the lead up to the great dimensional merge. Only when Chris is at his lowest point, can the merge truly begin.

Who has the best track record of making accurate predictions about the outcomes of Chris's actions anyway? I have no fucking clue what's going to happen to him. I am shocked that he fucked his mom. I would have never seriously predicted that.

I won’t pretend to be better than I am; if I lived in Charlottesville I would probably take a spin through the mall parking lots and such to see if I could spot the car. I wouldn’t be dumb enough to even consider approaching, but I couldn’t resist just physically seeing the absolute zenith of degeneracy from a distance. Basically the closest thing there is to a demon.

Some sort of situation where he's got a caretaker, group home, institutionalized, IDK man. Maybe they'll view him as a threat to society based on his past legal troubles but I feel like he will be just viewed as batshit insane and incapable of caring for himself. Maybe not the autism card this time, but you know, you look at Chris and you just know he's barely there.

So I feel even without any diagnosises, a judge will recognize this man is insane. I mean, they MIGHT view him as a danger if they view what he did to Barb as Rape over Incest. If they view it as consensual incest then I feel like a judge would be way more lenient, but viewing it as rape might get him in the slammer. I don't even know honestly.
