$750 theft is odd /EPO violation is a long shot for a Sunday night arrest out of county unless the Richmond police just begged Charlottesville to give them something to pick this guy up on because they are tired of all the troll calls.

Unless Josh’s reporting of the theft with screenshots made it super easy for them to file a protection order violation AND the CPD really wanted something to nail Chris on while they investigate the rape charge.

New technology, such as DNA, may identify the perpetrator in cases in which evidence is present in the vagina for 3 weeks or more and on clothing for years; therefore, in selected cases, the kit may be completed after 72 hours
It can take up to 3 days, so it is possible that it hasn't been long enough to get full confirmation. Also Chris has stated he's been using condoms though that could be a lie, and most likely barb doesn't really clean down there after they boink so there is a high chance they could find something if he didn't use a condom.

If Chris is smart he’ll shut up until a lawyer shows up, or deny everything and say he was just pranking people online, etc.

Especially since they’re unlikely to find any biological evidence linking Chris if he used condoms. (I assume Chris doesn’t watch police/forensics show, so he probably doesn’t know this.)


Fortunately Chris is dumb, so he’ll probably start blabbing away to the first cop who pulls the: “I don’t think you’re a bad person, give me your side of the story so I can help you!”-routine.

If she was assessed at the hospital and found to be mentally incompetent, his recorded admission to molesting her ought to be enough for an arrest.
