It's more a problem that the left stopped, and now the left wants to get into your thoughts, police your own individual morality, etc. What's right is right, regardless of what side does it, and vice versa with wrong being wrong, regardless of political position.

The argument against letting people do what they want in their bedroom does exist, but it's different. It's the fact that at some level, while we all have individual responsibility and liberties, we, in turn, have collective consequences.

If we raise a generation of retarded crack addicts, pretty soon our society is going to be full of some functioning people, and a bunch of retarded crack addicts, for example. Individual liberties, collective impacts/consequences, right?

So it's a thin line. We have to respect individual choice, but we also have to try and ensure, if we're in politics or have some say in shaping society, that people aren't complete retards and able to take care of themselves without shitting up the rest of society with screetching.

How did we used to do this? Public school, civics class, etc. You understand the system, can make good choices, try not to impact others around you (the left no longer does this), and are mature about things

Nowadays people literally don't understand civics, and don't even value freedom of speech or expression anymore, among other things. That's how fucked we are, and that part is thanks to the left.

Since 2008 we have had 12 years of leftist leadership, with only a 4 year break from the first 8. Despite that, they never achieved some of their largest promises to the American people.

• Monopolies and large corporations were never challenged. If anything we saw them grow to great power under leftist rule.
• Likewise, worker and consumer rights were never made better and only received massive blows under leftist rule.
• Economically the lower-middle class people they claimed to fight for had done nothing but suffer. (Only a few years into Trump's first had they seen a recovering economy, which leftists killed especially in their states with covid.)
• Wars still continued, even the same wars that they claimed to fight against back when Bush was in office.
• Healthcare is still a nightmare, which became even worse under leftist rule.
• Education was never made affordable, and high education has essentially became a joke that is only forced upon Americans now.
• We don't have a better justice system. Leftist rule even saw us adopting the european style of just letting violent criminals walk free because of the color of their skin.
• Similar, racial harmony wasn't achieved but actively torn down year by year of leftist rule.
• Freedom of speech and art was not protected. It was instead effectively censored through the lens of the leftists claiming to save guard it.

Instead, the left tried to create a caste of mentally retarded slaves that will vote for them forever. They are losing ground since they pivoted their entire party to pleasing the slaves they managed to create, instead of serving the American people. Even minorities like african Americans are turning on them since they never delivered on any of their promises. At the time of writing it even looks like they are going to lose big time in the midterms because they are in a state where any needed changes would piss off too many of their servant classes. Their only future right now is with college educated women, which aren't having children when they join the left.

Another point for this latest election was the legendary blunder of lying about Biden, then denying all evidence to his senility, then turning around with a "oops, he's fucked", and picking fucking Kamala of all people as a replacement candidate.

Biden lied about Biden. His staffers ran defense because Joe had been in politics for so long there was some innate loyalty to him. From postmortems, most house and senate democrats didn't realize how bad Biden had deteriorated until it was too late.

Kamala was just picked because of the convention rules and fundraising money. Picking the VP to lead the ticket was to easiest way to transfer it all to her. Republicans would have raised FEC lawsuits if they tried to pass off all the money to someone else and there wasn't enough time to litigate the issue.

The fact that Biden was able to hide his illness for so long illustrates another large issue for the dem party: the top heavy leadership. Democrat leadership tends to do what the party thinks is best and is less fluid than the republicans. The line of succession has been screwed ever since Obama won office in 2008 and kicked Hillary 8 years down the road.

This is how I see the left when it comes to debates about mass immigration and demographic changes. In Europe, they try arguing that demographic changes aren't happening to where Europeans are either on the verge of being a minority or already are in major cities, but when you give them data showing proof of it, they smugly go "Omg who cares? Were all human beings and whoever is the majority in Europe shouldn't matter because anyone can be European as long as their share our values" They're too smug to see the consequences of their actions, get surprised when a right wing party wins, and blame "lack of education" for why voters voted for the far right party instead of realizing their beliefs are wrong.
