Just finished reading this thread, and I'd really love at some point to see a Jolly Cat / Dan Cilley crossover.
-Both are diagnosed with medical conditions, but feel either diet or spiritual means is the true cure to their deep mental problems.
-Both are being supported by older women despite their whole men-chase the-women, men-support-while women-stay at-home philosophies. Also, both want subservient wive(s)
-Both refuse to enter the workforce, veiling their laziness as devotion to their equally delusional missions.
-Both are whiny and ungrateful to the others that support them, particularly females.
-Both eat like shit but lecture others about diet (Dan more-so)
-Both are that deadly cocktail of narcissim & crippling insecurity.
-Both are self-righteous hypocrites who strive to be gurus.
-Both want children despite being incapable of caring for and supporting themselves.
-Both want fame & fortune, but only on their own, bizarrely specific and inflexible terms.
-Both film themselves and others at the most inappropriate times.
But while they have a lot in common, they have opposing views on sex, Vinny's being way more ridiculously puritanical. They also don't like sharing the spotlight.
And like strandedcastaway mentioned before, Dan is probably a danger to others because of his fixation on very young girls while Vinny probably wouldn't (and is so out-of-shape he couldn't) hurt other people. I also think even medication wouldn't help Dan at this point, but it might Vinny.
Common problem with people suffering from bi-polar disorder is once they level with the meds they stop taking them and backslide. But since Vinny cites divine intervention as his coping mechanism, he'll never even experience it to begin with. After reading those FB statuses, it's kind of depressing to see that he's been in this constant loop of misery, loneliness and high-highs & low-lows since at least 2010.
