@DRHaste23 tried to run the lie that the other law firms that Vic approached said his lawsuit was bad and refused to take. He offered no evidence of that.
The only evidence we have is from Lisa Hansell:
First firm said it would be too expensive. Second firm wouldn't move fast enough.
The way I see it, at least three law firms (Ty's, plus the other two) thought Vic had a meritorious lawsuit. Ty just couldn't close the deal.
Reminder that Vic attended Ty's daughter's wedding. Vic clearly likes Ty. Who knows what his opinion is now, though.
As for the deposition, sure, it would have been far better for Vic to have just given a blunt "no, the event she described never happened," but he didn't. This was why the affidavit where he unambiguously denied ever pulling her hair was important. They cleared up any ambiguity in the deposition, and since TCPA dictates evidence is evaluated in the light most favorable to the plaintiff, it should have been enough.
But Ty couldn't be arsed to get them into evidence properly.
