Victor Markhoff / Ana Victoria Markhoff / vvictorman_uel - Powerchair faker pooner, has every illness, allergic to Krebs cycle, bed mayo enjoyer, kicked out of house and mental hospital, constant ebeggar, applesauce heiress paid to yeet her teets

Can you imagine Vicky teaching? She would sperg for 20 minutes about how difficult the journey to class was (damn that subway) because she's IN A WHEELCHAIR, then ignore any questions asked by white men.
"Today, class, we will learn about the various types of bed mayo...."

"Excuse me, Prof, but I thought this class was about anthropology?"

*Vicky throws herself on the floor ad writhes in agony*

WHY ARE YOU TORTURING ME LIKE THHIIISSSS????? YOU JUST TRIGGERED MY SUPERCOVIDCANCERAIDS!

How da fuck are you gonna hear or lipread through that stupid mask? It's performative af in the first place so I'm assuming it doesn't come off just because she might be six feet away from people in front of a class for example.

The covidians are posting loads of shit lately (and Vicky retweeting) about clean air filters etc in buildings and how not having them aka normal existence, is the most dangerous noxious shit ever.
So yeah I'm sure the mask ain't coming off.

In Denmark what gets to be subsidized makes sense to its citizens, but some of it is straight up outlandish to anyone outside of the Nordics. Most people know about free education and students getting pocket money to cover rent & living costs, but there's other things like getting your transportation-related costs back through tax returns for example. The weirdest case I've heard was from a friend of a friend - a Dane - who got a cosmetic nose job subsidized on grounds of being insecure about her nose, arguing that it affected her quality of life.
It's the same in Sweden. As a young adult I knew of a guy in my loose friendship group who got a nose job and something more I can't remember what it was free by public health care. He was diagnosed with body dysmorphia/BDD and went through years of therapy and medication and in the end, after like a decade, they simply approved surgery as he didn't get better with treatment.

She'd want to immediately persuade the union to strike so she could go back to bedrotting and ebegging.

This is the government saying "sheesh, enough with your blubbering, if we buy this for you will you just shut up?"

You left us all hanging, though. Did he get better?

Vicky recalls a fond memory of when she committed her first act of being a public nuisance

Also, these fucking books can cost like 500 fucking dollars, which adds up to what is commonly called "a shit ton of money" when you have 4 classes you have for the semester. You don't automatically get an ebook access. If you do "buy" an ebook, you are only paying for access to the book for the semester, which still runs you a couple hundred bucks, and sometimes you can't take screenshots to print out.
super belated: ebook versions of textbooks tend to come in a proprietary format with their own e-reader that's been designed to be absolutely horrible. No screenshots, limits on consecutive lines you can copy and paste, everything that might provide quality of life removed or made more difficult. Years ago, I had a book that came with an animated page-turning animation if you wanted to skip enough pages and it was slow and horrible and you couldn't turn it off. Speculation: they'd have to have an accommodation for blind students, but it would be in-theme if that accommodation were the absolute worst. Maybe you can't speed up the voice of an audio version.

Also sometimes the book comes with the ebook "bundled in" which means they make the book cost more and you can't opt out.

Vicky, of course, deserves all of this, but the academic money-suck is terrible for everyone else who doesn't.

Nigga Zoidberg is peak male form.
Lmfao I can never get over those fucking ham hocks, every time I see them they strike me as more obscene. Vicky managing to be a failure of even being a faker is kinda something.
short term pred use causes muscle bulking. It makes cells extra sensitive to insulin, which means more protein synthesis.

However, the effect wears off with prolonged use and then causes insulin resistance and diabetes.

This is because of Libgen. Libgen and other textbook pirates do not care. They will still put scans of the physical book on LibGen.

You will own everything, and you will be happy.

Yes, except for being extremely self conscious about his acne scars he got rid of the delusion.

I personally think it was the cost of having him in therapy for a decade that made them want to see if they could get rid of him by paying out the one time sum for surgery.

If you like physical books, you can also just buy the year above's old books, my uni had book fairs specifically for this, or find second hand copies online. For the vast majority of undergrad courses it will not make a difference.

Stokes' theorem will not change between editions, human anatomy will not change between editions, the historical events will not change between editions. I could go on. Even if you are in a field where changes are quite quick- publishers are so slow to update their textbooks that they'll be out of date. For this reason several of my final year courses didn't have suggested textbooks, just papers and extensive notes from the lecturers for reference.

Oh and if you are doing anything maths related- the second year books may well contain what you need from the first year books. This may be the case for other subjects too. Most core modules don't change very much because they are the foundational shit required to understand your subject, no matter how you choose your optional courses, so you can just check online if next years book covers both years. If you are doing a degree certified by some outside body related to your subject, they will have requirements about what every student needs to learn to retain that certification. At least in my subject, these also don't change very much.

For non-core modules and later years (where you're more likely to be learning newer material) this might be a bit more risky. But if the same lecturer gives the course year.after year, its unlikely to change- they're overworked enough, they aren't going to just redo an entire course unless new results force them to update it.

You reek, Vicky. That’s very intriguing to a dog.

”Arf? Do I detect mayo with a hint of bedbugs and perhaps some scheduled substances? Bouquet is very rancid. Must investigate further.”

Like any of the dogs she encounters are service dogs. Given her acquaintances it's most likely rescue pitties with an Amazon vest slapped on them. Real service dogs would never jump on someone in a wheelchair, they're trained not to.
In Vicky's mind all the dogs are ALERTING to her many maladies.

They can smell the super rare disorder she is very, very seropostive to! (it's a sushi roll under her back roll)

Yeah, good luck with that. And I’m sure it’s gonna be your parents’ foreign education that’ll be what’s keeping you from getting on the path to a PhD.

She’s just the queen of cope. Muh disabilities, muh trauma, muh ebil parents, muh medical gaslighting, muh transandromisogynoirenbyphobia…

Having parents having foreign education so there is so much I do not understand and milestones I should've already hit
  • All three Markhoff kids in private school their entire life
  • Mother is a published author, does academic research in classical studies and pursues activites related to art
  • Father is a C-suite exec, went to grad school and even finished a follow-up education in 2023 at Wharton
  • Middle Markhoff literally attended two acting schools and was abroad to learn about masks in Bali with his apartment paid off so he could pursue this
U-huh...

The sheer audacity of this bitch is truly something to behold. Whatever else mama and papa Markhoff are guilty of, they can rest easy knowing they gave their daughter every advantage possible to pursue her dream for a PHD. Vicky had access to an elite early education. She herself admits that her parents devoted tons of time and money to exposing her to arts and culture. She's moved in wealthy circles. They've supported her financially through years of undergrad in one of the most expensive cities in the world to live in.

For her to look back on it all and say "I'd like to get a PHD, but my dad was originally from Germany, so we had no idea it's actually bad to spend 10 years failing to get an undergrad degree, and trying to shame your university in the papers when they evict you for squatting in student housing" is wild. She's earned an honorary doctorate in avoiding accountability.

If the screenreader is hard to use maybe you could stop crossing your eyes, open your eyelids and wear your prescription glasses? Just a thought.

Vicky is considering an unconventional route to adequate medical care, no, ifs, no buts, NYC doctors beware!

Btw, fun fact, Ana Victoria Markhoff AKA Victor Markhoff is legitimately the third ever person to have typed out the phrase "extremely seropositive" that is indexed on Google.

1000044554.jpg

If she's as smart as she claims to be, then she should've known better than to invent her own terms, and instead use actual clinical terms that she could've easily learned by reading research papers. Unfortunately for her, she has demonstrated an inability to read anything, to the point that her blunder is indexed on Google as one of four results. Truly a prime PhD candidate.

In other Vicky-related news, I also noticed that she had liked a Facebook post on IgG4-RD. Something about a woman with a IgG4-RD diagnosis who founded a non-profit for her disease, recognised by an org called Infusion Access Foundation. The post was uploaded 4th April. (Link / Archive)

Guess what she was posting about in early April?

She thinks she's slick, huh? Well, I'll miss the Myasthenia Gravis era, that's for sure :semperfidelis:
