Victor Markhoff / Ana Victoria Markhoff / vvictorman_uel - Powerchair faker pooner, has every illness, allergic to Krebs cycle, bed mayo enjoyer, kicked out of house and mental hospital, constant ebeggar, applesauce heiress paid to yeet her teets

There’s an interesting little tidbit in that FND tweet thread: “I suck at perceiving my own body and everything IS amplified”.

So basically an admission that she really does have zero tolerance for discomfort. But, as is typical of Vicky and her ilk, it’s presented as an I-can't-help-it condition that the rest of the world just has to cut her slack for rather than something she has to be aware of and compensate for.

She reminds me of an ex boyfriend who used to go to the ER reporting non existent chest pain to defer exams. I really fuckin hated that because he was making the actually sick people in the ER wait even longer when he just wanted a doctors note to defer exams

eta: I'm still intrigued as to what kicked off this anger/threats/whatever rant. Is it her parents? Her professors? Her doctors? All of the above? Its quite a swerve from her usual "woe is me, I don't get everything I want without putting an ounce of effort in and everyone is mean and nasty to poor old disabled me."
I'll bet it's because her professor told her "No, Vicky - rolling around on the floor and pretending you can't read giant letters on a screen only 2 feet from you doesn't mean you get an automatic A"

She was still thinking about violence a few hours after last nights tweet storm.

So, for Vicky, she is probably in the words=violence camp when its words she doesn't like. But she fantasises about violence towards people she doesn't like, that her ilk consider guilty of wrongthink, and that is just fine. Not surprising given the prevalence of trannies thinking its fine to make threats to TERFs.

I don't usually condone violence but if she ever tries to punch someone I hope its filmed and put in the thread, because I think it would be hilarious.

I'm still intrigued by this diversion from her usual munching/talking about her academic superiority, which she achieves by never doing any work. I suspect the speculation above about her being close to the end of the road for munching without actively hurting herself might be a contributing factor. And the impending deadline for completing her degree if they really stick to the 10 year rule mentioned ITT, meaning she might actually have to submit some work. We know she was upset about a recent grade so maybe the prospect of further impending bad grades/outright failure is also contributing.

ETA: some covid doom-mongering:

If you want to read some interesting books about COVID and the people who were there at the start I'd recommend Spike and The Premonition. It wasn't a conspiracy, my guess is it probably was an accidental lab leak (I unfortunately have some knowledge about the incompetence in BSL 4 labs, any country with one could be ground zero for a serious outbreak). Last year in the UK flu season was way worse than COVID, as per here. Like ffs I'm so tired of this shit.

If we were going to purposely choose a pathogen to create a worldwide outbreak we wouldn't choose a coronavirus. There are way easier things to manipulate with far more predictable outcomes. I'd personally go for a plant pathogen that targets one of the key species that humanity depends on, rice or bread wheat.

This scatter graph of a person. If she's so convinced, learn Python or R, do the review, make a violin plot, approach a professor in person and shirt front them with your statistics and rightness.

In what modern circumstances does she not have access to a google doc? Do the work, love, you're just hoarding papers that agree with you - cited in Chicago while the whole world uses APA.

She doesn't even need to do that, she can just get her spreadsheet in the right format and do the appropriate plots here to produce estimation graphs for effect sizes - the bit that would get her stuck is data provenance as we know she hasn't done any proper studies. Though there's a lot of interesting stuff you can do with publicly available data if so minded. She isn't, because she's lazy, and would probalby just change the number til she got the right

Or she could just ask AI, Perplexity supplies references. Given her hypocrisy everywhere else probably would despite being against it to be "correct" in her bubble.

Sometimes I can't believe Vicky is a real person because she's so cartoonish. The perfect munchie, as if she was created in a lab.

What in tarnation? Does… does she think you get AIDS from kissing, or is it just her performative COVID paranoia again?

Yeah, I guess it’s the latter but we all know she’s not kissing anyone so as usual, it’s just Vicky believing she’s being profound again. Must have had her Addys refilled.

Also, ”sex and sexual safety as a human right”? I for one do not consider getting laid a human right, but that might just be me. Sexual safety, if she means the right not to be raped, I obviously agree with, but she seems to think there can be no sexual safety unless everyone is wearing rubber suits and bedazzled gas masks, forever and ever.

She should hang out at Berghain fr fr.

Iirc Denmark operated under the rule that sex was a human right for a while. Free whores for the disabled was an actual thing. The Danish are a weird lot.
Not quite. There is a case where a disabled guy really wanted to have his expenses related to seeing a prostitute covered by the government, resulting in a legal battle. I believe it resulted in having legal grounds for disabled people to be able to seek support from carers for disabled people to access sex workers and to cover e.g. transportation costs. No "free whores" or such however.

In Denmark what gets to be subsidized makes sense to its citizens, but some of it is straight up outlandish to anyone outside of the Nordics. Most people know about free education and students getting pocket money to cover rent & living costs, but there's other things like getting your transportation-related costs back through tax returns for example. The weirdest case I've heard was from a friend of a friend - a Dane - who got a cosmetic nose job subsidized on grounds of being insecure about her nose, arguing that it affected her quality of life.

One might think that this would result in e.g. munchies taking advantage of the system but surprisingly that doesn't seem to be the case for the most part. I knew a few Danes - one who obviously had undiagnosed learning disabilities and a few others who was definitely looking for something shiny to slap on their Instagram profile - who tried to seek an ADHD diagnosis. In Denmark the diagnosis process would require you to go to the GP first, then get a referral to the psychiatrist, which is notorious for having a long waiting list. That one person, who argued that their ailments was affecting their quality of life and ability to hold down a job, who wanted to resolve it once and for all, was immediately expedited to the psychiatrist within 3 months. The others, whose GPs judged that even getting a diagnosis wouldn't change much about their lives, was told that they could wait for years to be seen. AFAIK they're still waiting now since it has been some 2+ years since that conversation with those people, LOL.

Sooooooo..... After her NYU arc, which is coming to an end and she thinks she'll actually get her degree, she is going to draw this out with an attempt at a PhD? It makes sense given she already considers herself an academic, but I don't think she'd get accepted onto a programme, even if she was self funded- maybe a ruse to continue getting free money if the speculation about her having a trust dependent on her not being a NEET is correct.

Can you imagine a single one of her professors giving her a decent reference? Or even one at all?

They'll see it took her a decade to get her degree, so fuck knows how long it would take her to get a PhD. And her advisor would have to be willing to put up with her in frequent 1-1s (if its anything like over here) and be able to picture them being cohesive in their group for the entire duration.

If you were a professor and she rolled into an interview with her glitter mask, did a flip in her power chair, then communicated solely through up and down grunts and maybe @ing you on twitter, would you think- yes, this is someone I want to work closely with for the next decade+?

A lot of schools will accept a self-funded student who doesn't quite make the mark grade-wise for the free labour, but I think they still need to be personable at interview and not have a million red flags to their name.

Aren't PhD candidates expected to do some teaching and leading undergrad seminars? They are in my country. Can you imagine your first week as an undergrad, going to your first seminar, and in rolls this foul-smelling homonculous with bedazzled mask, mumbling and grunting incoherently about pronouns, scrawling a list of invented medical conditions on the whiteboard and telling you that Tumblr and Livejournal are perfectly valid references? I'd be filling out job applications at McDonald's before I'd even opened my textbook.

Aren't PhD candidates expected to do some teaching and leading undergrad seminars?
Yes. Here's a lifehack though: get your PhD in a medical sub-sub-sub-subject so esoteric and boring that there is no one to teach because people rather chew their limbs off than listen to you. QoL 11/10 for four years.
Source: trust me bro.

Aren't PhD candidates expected to do some teaching and leading undergrad seminars?
Yep, though I think you're a bong like me. It does depend a bit- you can ask for more or less teaching, I don't know if you can opt out completely. After year 1 they'll have assessed your skills and you might not get an option, or at least you'll be heavily pressured- if your PhD topic means you're really good at something students doing a core module need to learn then you will be leading those seminars and marking that work. I guess it depends a bit on the contract- I have vague recollections of seeing lab/seminar leadership duties explicitly mentioned.

Its kind of the inverse to @Zemblan Physics life hack above.

US unis, from my understanding, care more about student experience than actual quality of learning. Students won't like a smelly bed mayo-covered blob who only turns up occasionally and rants at them about her mistreatment by doctors.

Actually, she'd presumably do something disability studies related. Maybe the students, who are by definition retarded for being in that course, would value her for her "lived experience," I imagine those seminars are mostly one-upmanship about whose the most marginalised so perhaps she'd fit right in..

Now i think about it, maybe some retarded disability studies department would snap her right up to prove their authentic commitment to DEI. Then regret it about 10 minutes into.her actually starting.

Can you imagine Vicky teaching? She would sperg for 20 minutes about how difficult the journey to class was (damn that subway) because she's IN A WHEELCHAIR, then ignore any questions asked by white men.

Can you imagine Vicky teaching?
Yes, though I'm not sure I'd call it teaching. I want a video feed because I think it would be highly amusing, for about 5 minutes when presumably it would get repetitive.

I wonder if she'd pull a BLM, but instead of academia being racist, it would be ableist for not considering twitter DMs research. Given the bullshit going on these days maybe she'd get lauded for revolutionising disability research for allowing any random crap to be considered data.
