I was never a fan of those "they're going to go after Christians/we're being persecuted!" sorta alarmists that have always been common in Midwest Evangelical churches; but in hindsight I feel like a fool for not seeing the signs. With the increase in Islamist immigration over the past few decades, it was only a matter of time before both Atheists & Muslims became emboldened to go after Christians & target churches. They already don't have a problem targeting synagogues (like the recent protests outside random synagogues/Jewish religious schools in NYC).
