here's a trick for you. next time you see something like this, these faux-christians who would rather get murdered than defend the sheep of Christ's flock, ask them how God handled the canaanites. ask them how the angel of the lord handled the enemies of the israelites who meant them harm. ask them what the book of joshua is about. ask them what the book of judges is about.
they almost never even know what to say, because they don't read the old testament, and they ignore parts of the new testament that would lead them to take up arms, either spiritually or physically. that is why you will see these pathetic baptists and catholics and other protestants of the modern day ignoring that God outright demands that we defend those who cannot defend themselves, and that includes many members of your own flock who would not be able to defend themselves from roving bands like this.
