Buzzo's barely in this and I'm convinced they credited him because Soundgarden is 100% aping the drop-D version of Into the Void the Melvins had been performing for half a decade at this point.

The Gilligan's Island theme sang to the tune of Stairway to Heaven.

Also, Pinball Wizard by The Who sang to the tune of Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison.

My time has come my time is now.

First, The Afghan Whigs are well-known for covering a wide variety of songs. Two of the weirdest ones they ever did were a live version of Rhianna's Umbrella and the song The Temple from, of all things, Jesus Christ Superstar.

There's also Devo's cover of I Can't Get No Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones. I think it's better than the Stones' version tbh.

Here's a funky version of Them Bones by Fishbone.

Mark Lanegan has a siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick version of I Put a Spell on You. It's so villainous and jazzy.

Someone remixed the Plok! boss theme to sound even more like a Hotline Miami song than it already does. Absolute fire.

For a funny one, this is Ride the Lightning done in Mario 64 soundfont. It's unironically really good.

What do you think of the remastered version of Bane Star?

As many of you know, the masterful song Bane Star (Big Guy For You) ft. CIA which was released on Current Year-1 (2014) was taken off YouTube last year. In its place, a remastered version for Current Year+8 (2023) has been released

I believe the new version deliberately makes the Bane voice sound more like Bane from Christopher Nolan's groundbreaking superhero movie "The Dark Knight Rises," where CIA suffers a tragic fate because Dr. Pavel refused Bane's offer in favor of CIA's and Bane had to find out what Dr. Pavel told CIA. Thankfully, CIA, a repressed homosexual, experienced before his untimely demise what it was like to meet someone who was too much of a 'big guy' for him.

Here is the old version on Bitchute for comparison: https://www.bitchute.com/video/xnBUP1Wk8riQ/

Maybe it's my nostalgia but I prefer the old version, the Bane voice was more of an obvious mockery of Tom Hardy's muffled rendition but it came off funnier.
