League of Legends is more fun than DOTA 2.

DOta 2 is extremely serious and very competitive. Its matchmaking is so painfully pinpoint that you're always on your heels and hour long games can come crashing down to abysmal defeats because of one last minute teamfight gone wrong.

League of Legends is care free and retarded fun.

In every sense of the word, League of Legends is inferior. Its developers are borderline incompetent, their profiteering strategy is long-term doomed to fail. Dota 2 is going to cripple the game. The problem is that League is just more fun to play for me. The gamers are shorter, money flows faster, supports get more cash, so by the end of a long game everyone is going to have a good set of items available to them. If you lose, who cares. If your team sucks, surrender. If their team sucks, enjoy your 40-nothing victory where you end with 6,000 gold on hand because there's literally nothing more you can buy.

What's the opinion here? I can't tell if you like LOL or you hate it. I for one think LOL > DOTA 2. #baylife

I actually agree. I recognize that DOTA 2 is a very well made game, but for some reason I just can't quite get into it. Maybe I'm just too much of a casual, or maybe I haven't tried hard enough and I'll get into it if I just keep playing, but I just find League more enjoyable.
 
If only the community was "nicer." Half the time I want to play, and the other half I remember how awful the kids are that play that game.

Considering the review scores FF13 got, how many sales it received and how it's getting 2 sequels I don't think that's an unpopular opinion

You're probably right, I keep forgetting how vocal the detractors are.
 
Sales don't mean much. I bought FF13 and I realized it was a mistake. The game is horrible. I just didn't return it. I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Good music though.

I pcked it up at the mdnight release and played it for an hour and have not touched it since.

If FF wasn't handled by Sakaguchi-dono, don't play it. It's a rule of thumb.
 
The plot wasn't so bad. There was something about the raspy voice of Fran that was, well, pretty alluring. However, the game played on autopilot. Nowadays, I wish more games were like that (I've become super casual), but it is not meant for a final fantasy game.

Same here. The closest ive ever come to playing one is watching some kid nextdoor play one while I was babysitting
