Unpopular Opinions about Video Games

When I heard of an Elder Scrolls MMO, I honestly did not care if it would screw up the series whether it was screwing the company, it's being made by another group within the company. Also don't care about it messing up the lore. Only thing I would care about is it's gameplay.
Honestly, I never thought the TES series was all that special.

I think it would be a nice opportunity to expand upon the lore what with being able to access all of Tamriel

It would except it does violate some lore, where Cyrodiil was originally a jungle which would actually be better, though to be honest, it could be a spin-off and regardless of how canon they make, I'm not much of the lore fan. I do like how they actually put in a family that is related to the main antagonist from the first Elder Scrolls game.

Watch out for Tamriel Rebuilt, for Morrowind. I tried the first release and it was extremely detailed, the only reason I didn't play it properly is that my laptop isn't fast enough. Skywind will also be awesome, especially if they support some of the many incredible fan-made mods for Morrowind.

If anyone here has ever played the Wizardry games and feels like the mmo is a defilement to the series then I have this opinion that would be unpopular: I like Wizardry Online and I don't believe it is a terrible game within the Wizardry series, even if one doesn't like grinding or the animu stuff.

I'm not inherently opposed to the idea of regenerating health/energy shields/whatever in shooters, I just don't like the Call of Duty style of 'hide behind the wall and your magical healing will instantly fix the bullet holes/shrapnel/missing limbs'.

Speaking of which, I also think the Final Fantasy XIII/Baten Kaitos Origins method of healing you after every fight improves the gameplay of those titles.

I actually find "Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde" for the NES a mediocre game rather than "one of the worst NES games ever" or "one of the worst games ever". In fact, I played NES games which are more tedious and worse.
People just think it's really horrible because AVGN bashed it into the ground. But it's still a pretty stupid game.
"Hey kids, who wants to be a guy who can't do shit while everyone tries to murder him!?"

I think Final Fantasy VII is overrated, while at the same time, underrated as well.

Personally, I've seen more people bash the game than people who praise it. And I personally think it's a very good game. I just prefer IX a lot more to be honest.

I intensely dislike any Assassin's Creed game.

Funny story, I asked my parents for Assassin's Creed for Christmas in 2007, but changed My mind when I went round to my mate's house, as he had already got it, I remember my reaction to it was "meh", so I got CoD 4: MW1 instead, I also got My 360 connected to Live at Christmas as well, I immediately sprang for Halo 3's multiplayer and left poor old CoD 4 in the dust, lol.

I hate Far Cry 3.

I got the game for the PS3 awhile back, and it is frustrating as shit. Not in the challenging way either, just annoying. Don't even start with me on the segments where you have to get through undetected. Then there's taking over bases, because let's face it, it's irritating to go into an area only to get swarmed by guys in cars. Killing everyone in the base is almost impossible without being detected. The alarm boxes are also hard to spot, making it even worse.
