I wanted to like spore. I wish I could like spore. But the content on it just dries up after a few hours. Couple this that EA wouldent pull a Sims with it and milk its expansions for all its worth, thusly killing the game.

I used to love spore myself, despite how the damn thing was so glitchy (Such as crashing if I click the dress up button in-game, forcing my critters to be naked for all of history). But, as I played more and more, I began to realise that this game has wasted a lot of it's potential.
For instance, my fave age is the civilization age, a time where you build a nation, gather resources, conduct diplomacy and wage war. Sadly, after a few playthroughs, I began to wish to do more in this mode, as well as for certain items such as diplomacy to have been worked on further.
Diplomacy is bland and isn't really that much. If anything, it's the most dumbed down version of it you can imagine. Warfare is also quite dull, having only three units to pick from (unless you are an economic powerhouse, then you have no army at all, which is stupid), and it is made worse with bland combat.
Hell, when you get into combat, it gets confusing quite quickly. Why are my Bi-planes shooting lasers despite not having any slapped on? Why aren't my Tiger tanks using their 88MM guns to attack the city, instead popping cannon balls out of it's hatch? And if you are playing a religious faction, why do you use ugly music makers instead of weapons of war, and where did they get the technology to make huge holograms to bitch at the city of their targeting?
Really, I could go on and on about how flawed it is. And that's just one mode. All of other modes have their own flaws which should have been fixed, such as in space mode where for no reason whatsoever, you are not allowed to make your own fleet of spaceships to protect your galactic empire, but everyone else can. Why? Just.. Why?

Enig dijo:I love the Atari 7800.
I still feel the Jaguar had potential.
I don't get why people find Gmod fun outside of pissing off 12 year olds.
I only pirated Minecraft for the Creative mode.
Final Fantasy 7 not only sucks hard in terms of the FF series, but looks like pure ass nowadays.
I enjoyed Final Fantasy 8.
The arcade Moonwalker will forever be better than the Genesis one.
Also, I prefer calling it "Mega Drive" and not "Genesis", even though I'm an Americlap.
I had fun with Duke Nukem Forever.
I have more fun with GoldSrc games than I do the Quake series.
I hate Counter Strike and its' profags.
The only good Sony system was the PS1.
Wind Waker and the Oracle games are best Zeldas.
Starcraft just doesn't appeal to me. Neither does World of Warcraft.
I put the first Final Fight and Streets of Rage 2 on the same level of awesomeness.
I don't get why people don't like HL2: Episode One so much. It was the logical progression for a sequel system; they couldn't just go "Oh hey Gordon's out of City 17" and cockslap their fanbase.
Most of the shit /v/ hypes at times is just plain retarded.
That should do it for now.

It doesn't make any sense from a naming perspective. HL2 was the "first episode", so "HL2: Episode One" should have been called "HL2: Part two" or "HL2: you'll pay $50 for this shit", or "HL2: I'm Gabe Newell and I look like a thumb and I'm too busy sticking a Rainbow Dash doll up my ass to work"
Enig dijo:I really don't get why people like games like LoL and DOTA 2. Whoopdie doo, follow a very rigid order system and win over and over without any room for creativity, soooo much fun
