I haven't replayed chapter 1 and 2 in awhile but I feel like the use of they/them pronouns was avoided back then and Kris was just referred to as Kris.
Nope, Kris was referred as a they back in Chapter 2 by Toriel IIRC, same with Chapter 1 although people rarely reference Kris due to being a grittier story compared to the next chapters.
What would count as 'black-skinned' for monsters? Crows? Red foxes?
Also: Isn't Noe brown-furred? Perhaps that's why she's so randomly violent, likes firearms, and her mom owns a katana.
