Speaking of the CORE, and now we're getting potentially more involvement from Gaster, who both created and apparently fell into the core, I just want to bring the symbol that you see almost immediately upon entering the core in Undertale to attention.

Of course I know the Delta Rune exists in UT lore, but I just feel like it's worth mentioning considering everything else that's going on.
Going with this theory, that there's some sort of simulation in the CORE that somehow generates the energy that powers the underground in UT, then it may well be the case that "Suzy" also fell into the core.
What doesn't make as much sense is Sans in this case clearly having some level of relation to his UT self, unless you also go with the time loop theory, and Sans managed to escape from the CORE simulation. I don't really like Simulation Theory much, though.
But if I had to schiz out a unified theory for this and a bunch of other schizophrenia that has been posted, then I guess it'd go something like
- Gaster makes the core
- Gaster trips and falls into his own creation
- For some reason, he can't leave
- Sans does ??? (i fucking hate this asshole, self-aware NPC who escapes? But then why is Grillbys (albeit with a changed sign) there?) (Maybe he was designed as something like a monitoring program?)
- An iteration of Sans escapes, becoming the UT Sans
- Time Resets
- Flowey ends up going in, too, becoming Ralsei?
- At some point after everyone else has left the Underground, "Suzy" somehow trips and falls into the CORE?

Yeah, there's a whole lot of reaching going on here, hopefully it doesn't come to this.
I think there's something eerie about the clam goner directly telling you that you're going to meet her neighbor Suzy very soon, and she's just not in Undertale. What did Toby mean by this

Fuck, now I gotta play this "Deltarune" to see what the fuss is all about.
Play up to the end of Chapter 4 yourself, then just watch someone else play Chapter 5 on youtube. Most of the game is good, but there's a very particular point where the game stops respecting your time.

But he has the ability to send everyone to yuri niggerhell with a single stroke if nothing comes of it.
The worst case scenarios are
>Noelle and Susie have some contentions/issues but get back together anyway (could be alright depending on how it's handled but it'd still be annoying because Kris gets cucked and the fanbase is shit)
>Noelle and Susie and Kris get into a "polycule" (Toby deserves to be lynched if this happens)
>Noelle and Susie break up but Kris gets with Ralsei anyway

The first one depends on what direction Toby is going with Noelle (I've discussed this previously but basically how much of WR is her genuine emotions vs her having a psychotic break), second one is if Toby was raped as a child, and the third if Toby did the raping

how much of WR is her genuine emotions vs her having a psychotic break
Honestly, her psychotic break revealing her buried emotions and delusions is one thing.
But how the fuck is Noelle exactly supposed to respond when she's confronted with the existence of the prophecy. The validation of all of the worst case scenarios she's locked away in the back of her mind now being told to her straight up by somebody she thought she liked. "Haha, Noelle! We're all in the prophecy, isn't that great! We're all gonna be heroes! Look, all these things that it said would happen happened!" Fucking mind shattering to somebody already feeling caged like Noelle without proof.
That's my take, anyway. Toby can't pull the fucking "A Noelle is just a Noelle" and "Nothing changed." stuff and then not have any sort of true payoff to Noelle having those beliefs in the route where she's not forced to confront them early with a way out provided through the soul.
So much hinges on the next chapter not being total slop it's unreal.

We also still need Toby to explain what the fuck is going on with the Shadow Crystals showing Noelle and Susie (Come on Evil Susie theory).

My reaction to most of the fights in chapter5 was "I'm glad I beat that first try, because there's no way I'm doing that again." Some of the respawning enemy encounters take forever too, which made searching for coins to unlock the secret boss really annoying. I think there was a lot more unskippable/autoscrolling dialogue too, in and out of battle.

I hit this stupid motherfucker no less than three times while backtracking for the Cliffs coins and the egg room. Would it kill them to make it stop spawning after you reach its recruit requirement?

Unfortunately, I get the feeling that the way the narrative is going to try to paint it is that Noelle having the heckin wholesome yuri romance with Susie is how she gets to "grow and change". There's going to be some bullshit about Susie driving Noelle's growth, especially now that she is telling Kris they have to include Noelle in the dark world shit.

YAWN. HONK SHOO HONK SHOO.
Friendship ended with normal route, now WEIRD ROUTE is my best friend.
