The only other characters who noticed that Kris had changed other than Noelle is Weird Route Berdly, and Normal Route Flowery.
I mean Susie seems to have unconsciously noticed, but that's kinda covered up by the player forcing Kris and Susie to actually open up to one another.

As far as Susie knows the way Kris acts during the game is the "real Kris" that she just didn't get to know up until now despite them having an established relationship beforehand, rather than it being a noticeably weird change in Kris's behavior because of us. Her personality changes at the same time Kris's does because of the story, so Kris changing because of us probably seems completely natural to her.

Noelle caught on basically instantly though. All the way back in Ch 1 she clocks that Kris is suddenly way more talkative and social and how odd that is.

Interesting thing.

Its implied Flowery based some of his traits on Asgore's real college roommate, Rudy.

The Knight and Flowery share a lot of poses.

If you squint, Flowery's face kind of resemble Rudy's. Ver archivo adjunto 9199425
i feel like this would've been way more pogniant if the NR events of chapter 5 was 4 instead and vice-versa

Beat the chapter last night, overall I liked it yet I was put off by everyone, both lightner and darkner, going "Susie we will help you win over Noelle!", even freaking Berdly of all people which felt super out of character. I still dislike Susie falling in love with Noelle, STILL feels like it came out of nowhere.

The ending was bittersweet because Susie pretty much hijacks it away from Kris, she goes to castle town to prepare everything for Noelle's arrival.
You could argue that Susie is an orphan or has a shitty family hence Castle town is her home and she wants Kris to go home with Toriel (and Kris needs time to go do his thing I guess) but it would have been far better if Kris went in to help as well. Unless Toby does something to subvert expectations, chapter 6 is just gonna be the adventures of susie and noelle, featuring third wheel human.
Learning to dev is a much safer bet than hoping J. R. "Bob" Fox's lesbian fetish goes away. Come drop by, we're always looking for new thread regulars.
Yeah I unironically started learning gamedev because I've realized we are never getting Krusie (or a straight romance that doesn't involve sans and toriel) and I want a game that dives a bit deeper into the combat and party aspect. On top of that I was inspired by some fanart of what a "Deltarune yellow" would look like.

I can imagine Susie stealing away Ralsei and Noelle to make her own party after ditching Kris.
Susie:
>"Kris, first the Knight came after your mother, then the Knight got your father."
>"You need to stay behind and make sure the Knight doesn't go after your mother again."
>"Me, Noelle and Ralsei will deal with this Dark World."

Ralsei:
>"B-but that's won't work... We need his soul to seal the fountain so Kris has to come along! M-maybe I can stay beh-"
Noelle:
>"Maybe we can deal with the Dark World, then come get Kris once we're ready to seal it?"
Susie:
>"Awesome idea! Lets go!"
>You were used up.
>spend the day in the Light World interacting with people normally
>stop by your dads shop to take care of the flowers etc.
>day ends
>wake up and go to Castle Town
>everyone is panicking
>"they never came back!"
>fuck
>run to the new DW
>close your eyes and think of Susie, Noelle or Ralsei
>Ralsei is KO'd
>Susie is exhausted but fighting
>Noelle is terrified
>FUCK
>first puzzle requires three people to get past
>no option but to return to the LW
>Catti I need drama between you, Susie and Noelle later, come be the party mage
>Berdley I need a Player 2, come be the party tank
>cool new party acquired
>Berdley uses his gamer knowledge to pull off insane shit Ralsei couldn't even dream of
>Catti uses her knowledge of the DW to help guide us (she's into the occult so of course she's heard about the DW)
>DW ends with you jumping in front of Noelle and protecting her like you did Susie on Card Castle
>Susie visibly pissed you stole back your spot as main character

cud be gud

Well, not everyone.

I was thinking about why the fuck the Flowers in Chapter 5 would all be trying to play at being humans. Sure, the Undertale reference, whatever. But think about it, tying Undertale into this, a single human soul was enough to pass through the barrier (which you and Noelle literally do in this very chapter in the Weird Route), but 7 human souls were enough to grant effective omnipotence and control over the game and shatter the barrier altogether and allow the monsters to return to the surface once and for all.
Flowery might've actually been trying to LARP so hard with his flowers that they were humans that they could shatter the prophecy.

One of my desires for this chapters was "Asgore to be a happy father" and not a goofball retard punching bag.
I'm glad that actually kinda happened despite him getting abducted in the end.

Maybe?
But he does get to see Kris fairly often anyway, and I can't help but feel like there's more to it than just that much.
Either way, the King's Vagueposting cannot be stopped.
I think it's possibly just because the majority of them look human rather than like monsters or darkners

multiple trannies in the writing team
The guest boss bullet developer for Chpater 5 did Void Stranger, which is a game that seemed cool until you realized it was about tragic lesbians. Oh and the only reason one of the lesbians had a child was due to rape. It had elements of messing with the UI to solve puzzles, et cetera.

It ain't just the writing team, boyo!

Thoroughly enjoying the idea of Kris explaining some of the Dark World stuff to Berdly and he immediately picks up on what's happening.
>"Oh, so it's like going out of bounds? That makes sense, I've always wanted to try that!"
>Genuinely enjoys talking to all the Darkners in Castle Town and has even managed to start some sort of quest system that nobody else has access to (would be a good excuse to have him leave the party and come back for story purposes)
>Zones out entirely and refers to it as "skipping a cutscene"
>Berdly gets to equip the BrokenScarf instead of Ralsei - it actually boosts his stats significantly, but he can't tell because he thinks his stats are already pretty juiced

Fuck, why isn't this dork playable already?

Trying to no-hit Mew Mew has made the song and the character grown on me. It's probably the most interesting part of the chapter for me.
:lossmanjack:
It's also really fucking hard.

Berdly would be such a fun main character if the "other classmates/party members in the dark world" wasn't just a chapter 2 exclusive bit that hasn't been touched in years. I always thought he and Ralsei would be a pretty funny dynamic, and Ralsei's interactions with Seth vaguely prove me right.

>Well midboss, while you were in a cutscene explaining your plans I was off-screen sabotaging them.
God Berdly has so much fucking potential as a character.

Do you guys think Berdly would be a fan of Flowery for fucking with the game mechanics to his advantage, or hate him for cheating and setting his stats at max?
Berdly is the sort of guy to immediately run home and grab his Gameshark to bring to the Dark World the moment shit gets explained to him in any sort of clarity.

We cant have different party members because the prophecy requires Kris, Susie, and Ralsei EXCLUSIVELY be the only playable team in the game. Noelle is a complete mistake as she is not an ally, but an enemy all along (the angel), and would end up causing the roaring alone.
