i think this is it. gaster is the enemy along with friend and susie. the only world-breaking entity i can trust is the forgotten man. my theory is that his eggs are a way for him to finally take form once we collect all of them, in case you didn't get the thornring from him and didn't do the weird route. twistedswd is a sword, aka pen with which we can rewrite the fate of this world and make these GONERS pay. aborting the weird route in ch5 probably won't do anything substantial and only have minor effects.

Replaying chapter 1, and you can tell toby was going down a much darker theme than what we have now. Jevil is by far the best secret boss of all time. Honestly, I would have been perfectly cool if toby stayed to with the "Card theme" where each boss is king, queen, jack, joker, and other gameboard pieces. Generic? Yeah. Better? 100%

I recall Queen was supposed to be a lot more vicious. She too was supposed to be a card.

Genuine schizophrenic Evil Susie theory
I doubt a person with double digit IQ like Susie would be able to come up with such a plan.
More than that, I'm genuinely baffled at how people treat kris as if he was a nornal boy, rather than an inoffensive genderless they/them blob because toby fox is a genuine libtard.
Kris is not sidelined because NTR, he simply disappears out of everyone's radar because he's completely sexless.

Additionally, going back to me being a plant nerd and shit, I still despise toby for not giving us infos on what species the 7 flowers are.
I said early on that they remind me of Anemones, but at the same time, they could be asteraceae, which are a far more complex type of inflorescence made out by having multiple flowers sharing the same receptacle. if a single flower is a darkner, as shown in the chapter, a composite flower would be an hivemind sharing the same body, on an hydra.
actually, it would be pretty great as a concept for a secret boss: something like the littlest daisy or a common dandelion turning into this monstrous flower hydra with like hundreds upon hundreds of heads for you to fend off, jealous of the treatment the 7 flowers receive from Asgore.

I'd also like to call toby a coward and a faggot because he clearly ignored the basis of flowers withering and re-blooming and that too would have been great to bring up: flowers are meant to last short because they reproduce, the root and stem being the longer lasting part.
And I'd like to add that the fact that flowers are hermaphrodites doesn't excuses toby to allow them to pick their gender and pronouns, if anything it makes the niggerfaggot a bigger offender.

Última edición:
Alright, I finished playing through chapter 5 and watched a youtube video of the weird route. I have all the black shards now but not all the eggs in one save; hopefully there’s some way to get the eggs I missed if they wind up being important somehow, otherwise I might just use a save editor or something. Here’s a mishmash of my thoughts:
  • I didn’t think chapter 5 was completely terrible but it’s one of my least favorites overall. I really enjoyed the gameplay and how long I got to spend with it considering how much WAITing we have to do in between updates. I personally wasn’t expecting that much lore or plot movement considering the emphasis on the “one last funni adventure haha lol :)” marketing material, but I certainly would have liked a little more than we got.
  • The Japan theming felt like it could have been more cohesive.
  • I did not care for Flowery at first but I really liked him by the end of the chapter. I loved that he really was just a good guy that wanted to make Asgore happy, he had great interactions with Ralsei and was an interesting foil to him, and that he brought up some very (very) interesting points about Ralsei (e.g. that CastleTown is also a dark fountain and no one’s brought up closing it yet; why? And that Ralsei can be more powerful but just chooses not to be).
  • Ralsei apparently has fire magic like Toriel does in Undertale.
  • Flowery is named Flowery because Asgore is famously terrible at naming things, such as how Toriel + Asgore = Asriel. That’s neat.
  • Too much of the dialogue in this chapter was cutesy misspellings, pop culture references, and modern internet furry speak. One comes to expect a certain level of this in a Tobert Fox game, but this much was grating and took me out of it.
  • The reveal that Green and Yellow were two of the seven flowers much later than when you first met them was a very cool moment.
  • Seth and Green are both women and no one will change my mind on this.
  • I did not like the visual design of Blue at all. Any smile I had while playing the game had dropped when his portrait first appeared. He really does look like a crappy Steven Universe character. Personally I could appreciate a flaming gay black man character, but the design needs to not be the big lipped, soft-edged saccharine crap we got.
  • Orange was my least-favorite character. She was weak and deeply insecure, took personal offense to anything said at every possible moment, and whined and tattled to others. If I wanted to write a truly unlikable character for something, those are the traits I would start with.
  • Green was my favorite flower that wasn’t Flowery. She really did steal the show and she was very charming.
  • I get why the flowers would initially think and say they were human, but it felt like the gag constantly came up without any humor, character development, or philosophy on what a human is or what their place in this world is.
  • I liked the idea of the trial sections with Yellow and Blue, but both times the logic made no sense and didn’t feel like they served any other storytelling purpose.
  • There were these mantis ladies and a bow-wielding variant of the Terekota enemy on the second floor of the diner in the castle at the very end of the chapter. I wonder if they were cut enemies.
  • Why is Flowery’s theme song the Full House theme song?
  • Weird route was very cool. I don’t buy that Kris and Noelle are dead For Real, but that said the final scene was appropriately disturbing and tense.
  • I hope we really did eat Onion-San and there’s no comedy cop-out at the end because that’s honestly hilarious

unno if it has been mentioned yet, but the steam page got updated today saying they're aiming for a 2027 release for chapter 6
I think the mentions of this being a RPG game have been removed as well.

Do you genuinely in your heart of hearts believe that THAT guy is going to write THAT plot line? The same guy that caved to plot pressure and removed the rape flower from chapter 4 because the fans complained that much? That same guy?
Odd how no-one seems to mind the implied double suicide forced by the deer. I guess it's okay because it's a lesbian punishing her abuser.

which case the story is being intentionally cruel and mean-spirited to Kris for unclear reasons
Just like Asgore in the first game? And the second one?

What if Kris is the one who “disappeared” Dess because she was getting too close to Ariel and Kris thought he was going to lose his closet friend/brother to “some bitch”?
Reminds me of bad Japanese plots, like that one twist from Gleipnir where one guy randomly killed a girl by hanging her because she was acting suspicious, and it turns out she was depressed, kek.

Yurifags can then maybe push them back together. Or shoot your shot with them.

God don't give me hope that the authors forced relationship will fall apart.
Will not happen because of the above. If the troon-cult notice the slightest criticism towards their insanity, Toby will be cancelled and possibly at risk of losing his life.

>(YOU)’re basically breaking the world apart and Gaster is probably looking at it and thinking “based retard”
So, that would be why the evil route is considered bad.

The eggs are symbolic of Ralsei, just like Ralsei those eggs will soon crack or something I don't know but I bet you 1000 dark dollars that Ralsei is trans next chapter.
Reminder that he's a minor with the fun combo of being depressed, having no social life, no parents to guide him, and huge responsibilities.
What do you mean it's grooming?

I'd also like to call toby a coward and a faggot because he clearly ignored the basis of flowers withering and re-blooming and that too would have been great to bring up: flowers are meant to last short because they reproduce, the root and stem being the longer lasting part.
That would go against the cute and wholesome homo-flower.

Stonetoss? Doesn't look like it.

Ralsei apparently has fire magic like Toriel does in Undertale.
Already did in the previous chapter, but Suss has low attention-span.

  • Orange was my least-favorite character. She was weak and deeply insecure, took personal offense to anything said at every possible moment, and whined and tattled to others. If I wanted to write a truly unlikable character for something, those are the traits I would start with.
Who made her? She's intentionally hostile, others are randomly mean towards her, and she doesn't even look humanoid compared to the others. Not sure what kind of fetish that is.

Green was my favorite flower that wasn’t Flowery. She really did steal the show and she was very charming.
what.

(Megaman Sprite reference, shame the guy went full troon)

I unironically saw the "akchuelly it's a 200IQ subversion of expectations by keeping the player out of the romance" cope on leddit today

that would be a lot more malicious than any Toby has ever written before.
You're not thinking like a cuck. You're supposed to be elated when watching two teenagers dyke it out from the closet (quite literally watching from the closet in Ch4)

The reveal that Green and Yellow were two of the seven flowers much later than when you first met them was a very cool moment.
I made the connection immediately tbh, I simply was baffled to learn that was their design, and how worse other flowers would look and be like (aside of Aqua).
Orange was my least-favorite character.
The whole chapter plays the "I have no clue how humans look like" joke way too many times, and orange was the last drop for me, her introduction as a shadow pupped wad cute and had a fun personality, her real self completely fjcks it up.
the trial sections
Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure yellow and blue are the only ones that din't use their omega attacks.
I mean, those were the worst ones in undertale but still.

Could be wrong, but I'm surprised that nobody posted this after you give Sean the shadow crystal from ch4. Guess everyone got too distracted by the raging faggotry of ch5.

It could imply a connection between Sean and Gaster, or it could just be more Undertale nostalgiabating.
you fucking know at ch6 this mother fucker is gonna say some shit like "ooh its gonna take me a whole day to make this"
And we're not gonna see what it is till ch7

They always gotta lighten shit up for their braindead child fanbase

Have some out-of-towners come by. Show Kris's classmates' parents doing something!
Yeah honestly, obvious yurislop aside, the festival was the biggest fucking letdown.
All that build up for something easily skippable.
I said it before but Toby really should have kept his minigame autism in check until chapter 5 so the festival had more cool shit to do.
3, 4 and 5 were getting worked on at the same time, why no one pointed this out to him is beyond me.

Things the festival should've had:
>Another human to show up, making Kris visibly uncomfortable
>More character interactions with the town on-par with the Catti interaction
>fucking festival
mini games
At least have the decency to spend time lubing me up if you're gonna fist fuck my ass with yurislop.
