I'm not sure. I think the Weird Route still needs to stay accurate to the prophecy, which has been shown as infalliable. So for instance, Jockington has to survive long enough to grow a beard.
I think we're going to force Noelle to kill the Knight in the Light World. Kris has enough willpower to refuse, even when we're controlling him, and Susie is obviously out of the question. Of course, we all know who the Knight actually is (probably)...
if you abort the snowgrave and keep thornring in her finger, what happens? i haven't heard anyone talking about this, she should've had troubles going to bed in chapter 3 but that doesn't happen? if we meet her again in chapter 5 thornring will be just casually equipped or what

I'm not sure how they'll handle an aborted snowgrave route but 5 is the second-heaviest Weird chapter in the game according to Toby so it's going to be relevant to some degree, just dropping it completely would be dumb.

I get some kinda feeling that there may be some "route" that involves mucking around with snowgrave, but not getting locked into it entirely.
As you said, we know we need the thornring to make the twisted sword, so in theory the only way to do that on a "normal" playthrough would be to abort the snowgrave route and hang on to the thornring.
I really should get a Snowgrave and genocide route save ready but I just can't bring myself to do it. I love all the little guys we can recruit too much. Except the whole "Brutalizing Noelle" thing. I can do that in a heartbeat. I can do that for free. If I could have a Save where I recruited everyone from Ch2 and also simultaneously Snowgrave I'd do that.

I saw a post on the farms before, may have been here, but didn't think to bookmark it because I didn't know that was a tool at the time. But it raised a counter-argument against those who act like "how you treat Kris's gender is indicative of how you'd treat real life gender-specials" and I wanted to find it because it mentions why that logic is stupid and not comparible to actually heinous actions that involve sexual interactions with minors even if in a fictional piece of media. Can anyone help me with that?

I have 3 save files: the first is my 'explore naturally' file, the second is my 'nasty, Weird and Sword Route' file, and the third is my 'nice guy, completely Pacifist, recruit everyone and get every egg' file.
I also run a challenge in completing every Bonus Boss in the second and third save files. This ultimately meant me finishing the bonus boss of the 3rd Chapter without a Shadow Mantle in the third save file (since that would have required completion of the Sword Route in my Pacifist save file), something I felt impossible until I actually managed that challenge. After all, you do not nee damage reduction if you avoid that damage in the first place.

Only existing to make others sick with no purpose beyond trying to multiply and infect others to increase their range even if it leads to more suffering and all the while never being satisfied.
