Seeing an interesting theory that the toy knives aren't from a flowey fight but a Kris fight. The attack is associated with the cyan soul, kris is cyan, uses a knife, and seems to be alone in the fight, there's not even an enemy on the other half of the screen.
I have a feeling it's the Cyan Flower fight, and the flower simply disappeared into the ground like Flowey often did.

Problem with the idea of a "You vs. Kris" fight in the Dark World is that Kris needs the Soul to be able to even survive in a Dark World. This is what is stated over the phone calls.
I also tend to believe that this is why Kris cannot intervene at any point during Chapter 2's Snowgrave section. Our control is too strong there.

Couple things

1)people have figured out that if you invert the colors on the deltarune page, the flowers turn pink and gold, and the deltarune changes to the color of asriel's wings in undertale. The soul also becomes Aqua.

2)there's theories going around that we're going to be fighting the 7 flowers in the chapter, 6 representing the human souls and the 7th flowey, which could explain the knife attack. Also apparently the mizzle enemy in chspter 4 talks about meeting a blue flower.

3)there are also theories that the white pen of hope is a trap. People are saying that you can see Friend's outline in the emblem along with a wing ding flower. I like the idea but I was kinda meh on seeing the stuff.

i remember that you need to subscribe to newsletter system to get a response, check if i'm wrong
Late entries don't count. Need to have been registered to the newsletter before the very first one was sent out, i.e. May 2025. Second time around, my alternate accounts were not acknowledged.

Plus, I'd wager that if you didn't get a "move forward" answer with your mail account last time, you're shit out of luck and can't participate this round either.

I hope the flowers are like Asgore's royal guard, that'd be cool

Alright, got home and saw another theory I really like.

Take a long, hard look at this screen and see if you notice something that isn't supposed to be there before you read further.

Why is there a sun in a DARK world? The other 4 chapters and castle town have all been dark.

In chapter 4, we got 2 hints on Chapter 5 (ignoring the Asgore black shard scene in mansion). The garden of pink and gold consumed by flames of jealousy. And the flower king trapped in asylum. The theory going on right now is that Asgore will have very little pressence in chapter 5 and will end up like Toriel in chapter 3, locked in a ball (of flames), and the gang trying to rescue him, hence the sun. It's not rising/setting, it's just on the ground.

It could be a desk lamp or some other sort of light. Kris turns on the TV at the end of chapter 2 right before he opens the fountain, which emits a small amount of light, so I guess it doesn't have to literally be pitch black for a dark world to open. I do think your idea could work as well though.

where in the world did the groomer dess thing come from? Like I’m aware it’s been around for a while but like who decided to bring that into reality??
I first saw it on 4chan and figured it was just them being coombrains who wish they were molested by their babysitter except she's a deer.

Actually, I did some quick looking in archives, and it looks like it may have been started by a poster in the Deltarune /vg/ thread who wrote a bunch of green text stories about Dess grooming Kris which led to the coining of the term Moldesster back in 2021, and then it became a background element to the general. I think though it blew up last year with Chapter 4 giving us some more Dess info, which is when coined the term doelested and it looks like it started spreading more into /v/ and /trash/.

1229 contestants get to participate in the final round.

I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that this was a necessary process to pick out a few individuals with a modicum of sapience in the community.

Not to imply that you aren't sapient if you missed it completely, but we know for a fact that all the ones mindlessly entering "11" and "1225" got kicked out.

What the fuck is that for?
