Ubisoft stock dipping again as they close another 2 studios and lay off hundreds. At least they showed the Chuds :story:
I'm sure another remaster where they replace women with hairy males will stop the bleeding. What good game haven't they raped yet? Maybe they can do Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and add an extra mission where Sam infiltrates the evil alt right transphobic nazis. Or maybe they can remake Beyond Good & Evil and turn Jade into Jake.
TL;DR These were all support studios and not responsible for anything significant at Ubisoft.
Nothing that has came out of Ubisoft over the last 20 years is significant, so there is that.
The funniest thing about that is the NPCs they covered up in the Black Flag remake are prostitutes.

You know, people who canonically would want to advertise their assets to attract customers?
Hey now, attractive women that want to have sex might trigger the whales and troons in the development studio, can't have that!

the main thing Winnipeg did was work on the proprietary engines ubisoft uses, snowdrop and anvil. other studios will probably pick up the slack but still it kinda sucks that happened

I think it's mentioned in one of the articles I linked in my last post, but the only actual named studio/team at Ubisoft I'm currently aware of is the one headed up by Yves Guillemot's son, if you want an idea of how utterly fucked the company is.

Looks like one of the cofounders is fucking dead, rip in piss frog.

Delightful news! He's one of the most prolific of the woketards. Shame he had the chance to sell out first before his influence could be snuffed out by gravity, since his family still got all that juicy Tencent money.

He was on the board of directors and a deputy CEO. There's still 3 other Guillemots on the board of directors and also deputy CEOs besides Yves himself. Basically, he's one of the people responsible for all of the retarded shit Ubisoft has been up to.
That includes covering up the sexual assaults?

Just asking to be sure.
At the end of the day, every leadership decision in the company, and the overall culture of the company is something that the people at the top are responsible for. Why? Because they're responsible for the next layer of management down, and so on. It doesn't necessarily mean they were doing the sexual assaults themselves, but they're responsible for the environment where it was allowed to go on or encouraged the rest of the management to hide shit.

There are many cases where the bosses are in the dark. However, judging from their self-flagulation in the form of woke games, I am leaning more on "they knew".

Like I said, if they were in the dark that's because they encouraged hiding issues as a workplace culture. The buck still stops with them. This isn't just one incident that was dealt with by HR and eventually made it into a quarterly meeting report as a footnote.

Workplace culture isn't exempting you from reporting crimes. They were at fault.

HR is just the cover-up/drama creation department.

I didn't say it wouldn't mean they had no fault. I specifically said...

Workplace culture is established by leadership. If that leadership encourages hiding problems, the leadership is responsible for it.
HR is just the cover-up/drama creation department.
Yes and no. It is the job of HR to protect the company, but it's also the job of HR to put a stop to shit like sexual harassment and anything worse when it is reported to protect the company. You don't report a sexual assault to the fucking CEO, you report it to your manager(who goes to HR) or HR directly. If HR isn't resolving the problem, then again that's an issue of workplace culture created by leadership.

I know, I seconded it.

From what I have seen, they don't care. They protect the company instead of the employees. Alternatively, they create drama to keep themselves busy and employed (usually through false allegations of sexual miscontact). It is either one or the other. The point is, HR never work as the should be.
