Is there a way to watch it without having that bullshit showtime and Hulu combo? I was so stoked to start watching it tonight after having no time....now I need showtime. Fuck that.

In my life I have learned that the first 3 numbers of the phone numbers that rule our lives are codes of area. Twin Peaks......In our world twin peaks is located in Snoqualmie, Washington. It's area code is 425 (Mr Jackpots gains 5 dollars from Jade, 425 + 5 = 430) look at this map here:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Area_code_253#/media/File:Area_Code_253.png

Right next to it is the area code 253. The number that is important for doppelgänger Mr. C's reutrn to the black lodge. Now we know things in the black lodge are backwards. Like 119. So 253 backwards is 352. And in our world 352 is an area code for the central area of the state of Florida. Guess where Florida is - The exact opposite corner of the United States: southeast. David has already covered New York (northeast) , Las Vegas, (southwest) and Twin Peaks (northwest.) I predict the show will somehow involve something or someone in this Florida region.

A good candidate city would be the city of Ocala, Florida.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocala,_Florida

Ocala is known as the "Horse Capital of the World." and has the Silver Springs park where Creature from the BLACK Lagoon was filmed. Silver Springs? Horse Capital? That's right! The Silver Mustang behind the red curtain of the black lodge. Could it represent a place, a thing, and/or a person from this city? Will time tell or has it already been told by your pal bbposion?

Right. That's how the drug trafficking thru Canada worked. I remember bums in Deus Ex talk about "Sqalnomie" and always thought it was a twin peaks reference.

This is the only thing your post made me think of.

It's funny, I found that episode 5 had a bit less of the plot moving along than the previous ones, but it did have some great scenes:
Jacoby turning into INFOWARS.COM was hilarious. /tv/ had spent the last two weeks trying to figure out what he was gonna do with those shovels and the theories all had to do either Ghostwood (something from the original show I had completely forgotten) or even him trying to dig a new opening to the Lodge. NOPE, he's just channeling the spirit of Alex Jones and shilling his products. Fucking amazing. And ofc Nadine and Jerry listen to him.

Kyle is doing a great job as doppelganger Coop. That scene where his and BOB's faces were combined was so well done and I think a great way to acknowledge we can't unfortunately have Frank Silva, but Kyle can do as good of a job.

Re.tarded Coop is so innocent, I feel like there's a small part of him that realises something is wrong with him, but the Lodge and the way he exited it fried his brains enough that he can't be himself again that easily. Still, he made a little progress when he called that one guy out as a liar.

Honestly, I just want Coop to go back to normal. Or at least be cognitive of who he is or just act like a basic human being.

I was talking about this the other day with one of my advisors from undergrad (the prof who introduced me to Twin Peaks via a David Lynch film studies class). The best reading she and I could come up with is just that he's been in the Black Lodge for 25 years. He's forgotten how to live in the normal world - possibly might not even believe that he's actually back there. For all he knows, this could be another weird place he's ended up. It probably doesn't help that he hasn't met anybody who knows him as Dale Cooper (yet).

I have to believe that as the doppelganger puts his plan into action, something or someone from the Black Lodge will take action to snap him out of it (if Hawk doesn't get to him first, that is).
