Diane, I'm wearing my Twin Peaks shirt right now. What a coincidence!

I'm sort of excited. It was supposed to come out two years ago, so there's that. It's on a channel I don't have, so there's also that. At least Lynch himself had a lot to do with it...

I've learned to not get too excited about remakes/continuations of media I really enjoy. But maybe this will be good.
 
Excited as fuck. The best thing is the trailers have been so vague, no one has any idea what to expect. I'm glad Showtime gave Lynch so much room to just be Lynch, it's making me hopeful we're getting something that's probably going to turn a lot of people off, but award those who can enjoy it.

I've been using this website to keep track on when the premiere is, since I am but a lowly yuropoor and have to stay up til the morning hours to catch the show (through completely legal means ofc):

Feeling really good about this show. Liked a lot more than I disliked. Man is the lighting and camera work top tier.

Coop's doppelganger is possessed by BOB, the real Cooper was stuck in the lodge, but is now out by switching places with Dougie Jones.
 
Anyone else hoping that the coffee has restored Coop to his good ol' self? I just really wanted the last scene to be him saying 'that's a damn fine cup of coffee!'
Otherwise though, I'm really liking the new series - it's so Lynch, it's awesome.

I thought it did but we just didnt get to see it. He was definitely different afterwards.

Yeah there was definitely a noticeable change in Cooper's behavior. I also noticed that he said "Hi" instead of just repeating back phrases or names he heard other people say (granted I'm sure someone must have said Hi to him in that episode, but everything else he repeated was more specific if you get what I'm trying to say).
What I thought was kind of odd was how Doppel Cooper was acting. He seemed very different from the way he previously acted, definitely more unhinged. I at first thought he was pretending to be different, but when he repeated what he said just a moment ago entirely to Gordon I had definite second thoughts. Very, very weird.
