Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Anybody who wants single payer, should be required to deal with the VA for five years beforehand. Because that's exactly what single payer will be, higher taxes and rats falling out of the ceiling of hospitals on to your bed, or dying with maggot infested wounds.

The US is so unprepared for universal healthcare and it would be a disaster for a long time. Current hospitals would be devastated and the quality of care would make VA hospitals seem like a stay at a five star hotel. Also enjoy waiting 6 months for a routine check up.

Their "points" boil down to "he's dividing us", citing the wall as an example, and that he doesn't speak presidentially. As for the dividing, it sounds to me like they're saying "if you do anything that some people disagree with then you're dividing the country". As for the way he talks, they seem to think that the actual way that the president speaks has an impact on the country, as opposed to the legislation that he signs or military action that he takes. Also, the democratic talking heads talked for minutes uninterrupted, but the republican heads couldn't talk for more than 20 seconds without someone butting in. Also, Begala called Trump a "moral midget" twice, but still thinks that Trump's rhetoric is divisive and problematic. There, saved you from watching 6 minutes of lügenpresse.

If we go by their logic, Obama divided the country up too with most of what he did, especially with Obamacare.

I think the sad thing here is that rather than compromise with Republicans seeing as how they're the majority in both the House of Representatives and the White House, they'd much rather shut them down entirely because they don't share the same thoughts. That's what's dividing the country, it's the lack of actual discussion.

You can feel free to dislike Trump, that's perfectly okay. Literally half the country didn't vote for him after all. But when you're saying we should resist Trump and the Republicans merely because they're on opposite sides of the political spectrum, you're part of the problem.

Bill Maher was that kid who got kicked out of Karate lessons because all he could do was kick the instructor in his balls/her vagoogoo.

No it didn't, the Empire came to power as a result of Palpatine manipulating the Senate into giving him more and more power until he had enough clout to not only eliminate the Jedi who opposed him but also abolish the Senate entirely.

If this is trying to say Trump is Palpatine, then it doesn't work because if anything Palpatine was the one giving fake news, not trying to expose it. Trump complains about fake news because that's what it has turned into these days, he's not the one making it.

Of all the comparisons I've seen made towards Trump, this one is one of the more nonsensical.
Doesn't that make Obama Palpatine, if we're going down that route?

It appears Miley still doesn't understand the electoral college.
