We had a good thing you stupid son of a bitch! We had the Witcher trilogy! We had the end of Blood and Wine! we had everything we needed and it ran like clockwork. You could have just released the fourth game and make as much money as possible. But no! You just had to blow it up! you, and your pride and your ego! You just had to be the man! If you would have done your job, known your place, we all would be fine right now!

The original specs

And there will still be people unironically cope defending Ciri: The Lesbian Hunter's shitty performance.

Usually i would be happy to get a new expansion for W3. Thing is that Blood and Wine was the closest we got to a happy ending for Geralt, a witcher that as their saying goes "no witcher dies on their beds".

I gotta wonder how will they fit this new dlc in story wise. Willl it account for the dlc's? Will it fuck up Blood and Wine? Honestly all they should have done if they wanted a new expansion is just to make Ciri the mc for the dlc and leave geralt in his state enjoying wine and banging Triss/Yenn.

Blood and Wine isn't really an ending per se either considering that you can start and finish it before completing the main story and Hearts of Stone. Only thing that really changes is some character/story interactions as well as the Yennefer/Triss/Ciri visiting Geralt at his new home scene not occurring until after you beat the main story (you can still do Hearts of Stone afterwards though). Wouldn't be surprised if this new DLC is gonna be similar, start and finish it whenever you like.

I would be excited except the anniversary stream really did not give me much confidence that the current dev team at CD Projekt Red is remotely up to snuff. Fool's Theory being involved may salvage it but I don't expect much. I'm hoping that they'll reintegrate most of the cut content/mechanics back into the game with this expansion but wouldn't hold my breath. At the very least they should give my nigga Iorveth some proper closure.

>Will need Windows 11 to run
They did not say this. They said they wont be testing on 10 (or non 11 hardware) as it is obsolete. It will most likely run just fine since 11 is largely just 10 with some annoying UI updates and other garbage on top.
Requiring DX12 will make it require windows 10 though, win 7/8 will no longer be minimum.

They did not say this.
They literally did. The screenshot of the new minimum requirements explicitly mentions a 64-bit CPU running Windows 11. Go look again.

This is neat though. Glad they're being so open and honest with these "lol fuck you" messages to their former customers. My machine meets the new specs no problem, but I won't be buying this shitty DLC anyway, because "fuck them." Works both ways, after all.

>6 GBs VRAM minimum
>12GBs RAM minimum, double the amount the original version needed
>We went from needing a GTX 660 to a GTX 1660
>We somehow went from needing a quad core processor to a hexa-core processor for no reason
>SSD REQUIRED IN CURRENT COMPONENT ECONOMY

What jeets did they hire for this, man?

>SSD REQUIRED IN CURRENT COMPONENT ECONOMY

If you didn't buy an SSD before two years ago when all this shit started you were never going to. Even the gimped to shit consoles had them standard when they launched five years ago.

CDPR upping the system requirements is kinda shitty, but all the bitching reeks of poorfaggotry when those new requirements are for hardware from six or seven years ago.

>SSD REQUIRED IN CURRENT COMPONENT ECONOMY
SSDs are pretty much a standard now so to be expected but 70GB of said SSD? IIRC the entire original complete edition of Witcher 3 was something like 30GB. What the fuck are they doing? Did they get some jeets to put this together in UE5 or something?

Seeing how the dev studio has been going lately I get the feeling the new DLC and the new future witcher game are going to be heavily entrenched with woke shit. The same studio that made Witcher 3 is only the same studio in name alone at this point, the factors and people that made the studio good during the development of Witcher 3 is gone

I hope they'll at least leave a beta branch with the old version of the game available so I don't have to bother with their dogshit "improvements."

That's been a thing ever before they shipped 2077.

Almost nobody that worked on the Witcher 3 is left at the studio, and them forcing a new DLC on Witcher 3 to justify their girlboss simulator reeks of desperation.

Knowing who works at CDPR now, I fully expect this new version of the game to be a buggy mess that runs like shit and be full of revisions to remove any "problematic" content from Witcher 3.

Also, the faggots are going to break pretty much every mod that exists for the game.

I hate these urbanite pollack cucks so much.

I honestly wouldn't mind a dlc playing as Ciri if they are really that desperate to get people excited for tw4, but Geralt is front and center in the promotional material so that's clearly not the case. I don't like that they feel the need to revive an older, more beloved game in the same franchise to drum up interest in their new upcoming game, I think it shows a lack of confidence. Give my boy Geralt a break already.

I don't like it, seems like it's a bad sign but it's just a dlc so hopefully it won't do as much damage to the story as the next game might... Right???
