I guess this topic could fit every Board in a way, but America First's only seems to successfull at luring in those "lost boys", so the deconversion Board kinda needs a thread about this topic in General.

I think it's obvious that more and more young men fall through the cracks of society and end up in retard clubs like america first. Thing is, the Leaders of these Clubs, guys like Fuentes or Tate barely qualify as grown ups on their own, right? They are stunted dudes who developed a persona based on their daddy figures instead of a real personality and are "coaching" young men to do the same.

Are there just no men to look up to and take as an example anymore? Does nobody in America First have a father?
What alternatives are there for these people to build character and lead a good life instead of sniffing the chairs of their e-daddies?

Therapy and learning to accept you have to be a decent person that doesn't think certain people are inferior due to some random trait they were born with if you want people to like you.

You can see this a lot on social media. Scrolls through your Tiktoks or your Instagram rolls or YouTube shorts as a guy. Algorithm points you to some fag on a podcast saying "uh if you haven't invested 1 million dollars by the time you're 22 you're fucked forever. You have to grind with a hundred side hustles."

Then they show you videos of exotic cars with quadruple digit horsepower and 7 digit price tags. Then they show you e-thots doing yoga and try-ons and saying they wouldn't date you.

Young men are sold lies the same way young women are. It's just that society is much more willing to validate a young woman and her issues whereas a young man THINKS society expects all this of him and nobody is going to tell him otherwise.

How do they turn their $12.50 an hour job into millions by their 20s? Gotta listen to Tate, or some other schmuck on a podcast.

imo, the solution is to get them to join a sports league or join the military. unfortunately, the military is pozzed and, if you are not good enough to make it on your high school team, there are no sports leagues to join because they are expensive.

there is no humane solution to the lost boys question. the historic answer for the LBQ is for the government to start a war and sent them out to fight it. if they die, then one less problem to deal with. if they live, you have a battle harden soldier that can be of use to government.

Maybe if these men got into a productive hobby besides video games and consuming anime that would fix a lot of their problems. Also, maybe instead of looking for a daddy figure they can try to better themselves and become the type of man they wished their father was. Pursuing a discipline and staying out of social media would be benefitial. The youth has lost its capacity for delaying gratification and seeking long term rewards over short term gratification because they are raised in a culture and interacting with technology designed like that. China might be onto something restricting kid's internet access and gaming time, not sure how succesful they are at enforcing those things though, usually thats the kinda measure that should come from the household.

I would say these kids have incredibly low self-esteem.

People who didn't receive enough nurturing during childhood tend to compulsively seek the validation of others. This can still occur if one has both parents. If someone doesn't like them, it generally makes them deeply uncomfortable. With a large portion of society telling you how much of a toxic piece of shit you are, based on immutable characteristics, it makes perfect sense why individuals like these would surround themselves with people who validate them.

People like this are easy to exploit. They desperately seek a solution to the problem from others, instead of looking inward. One of the biggest regrets people have near the end of life is giving too much of a fuck about what others think of them. It stops you from living your life and being anything more than a doormat.

With how radicalized people are in the present, an us-vs-them narrative is easier to sell.

exactly. outside of their immediate family. an uncle, granddad. what good male role model would want to be a mentor to a lost boy? any man, outside the family or close friend circle, who actually wants to get into the life of a young boy should always be looked at suspiciously.

sports, church, or afterschool activities was where these needs were fulfilled. no one is going to church. afterschool activities has their funds cut. today, sports are for the athletes and not the regular boys. boys were able to be in the jv team, but i think budget cuts got to them. these teenage years are the most important time in a boy or girls life. for peer to peer bounding and for mentorship.

there is no humane solution to this. i don't think a law that would force births to occur in a marriage only can be passed. i don't see a mass movement for positive adult males to mentor these lost boys.

Some of these "men" are barely over the age of 23. They have so much time to reflect, re-evaluate, and make a conscious effort to mature.

Churches, sports groups, scouting organizations, cadets, fraternities, etc. still exist, and plenty of zoomer men benefit from them. KF is a little too surrender-happy in declaring masculine social organizations a lost cause, when the real culprit is inattentive parents leaving their children to fend for themselves on the dark corners of social media, rather than just taking 1 hour off their day to throw a frisbee with them outside.

we know these boys are terminally online, lack social skills, and watch rightwing content. but what else do we know about them. is the majority of them from single parent homes? from rich families? white? if we understand these other variables, we can come to a final solution.

My hypothesis is that a lot of it is due to an inability on the parents' part, provided they're not just shitty people. It's becoming near impossible to simply get by without working insane hours, which often forces both parents to work full-time and take jobs that involve a great deal of risk. Higher paying jobs usually require either an advanced degree, nepotism, or taking higher risk options. Many skilled trades involve working with equipment that could kill you easily. Aside from that, manual labour leads to permanent injury a lot more now that a majority of western populations is in poor shape and health. When they are off work, they would understandably be exhausted and experiencing the manifestation of the many health issues brought on by the increasing pressures of society. Add to that an overall lack of community and closeness with one another, possibly along with a sense of impending doom. Feelings of hopelessness and isolation have plenty of physical symptoms. I can personally say that times of high stress used to give me severe back pain.

For anyone in a similar situation with stress, it's all about what you focus on and how you react to things. It sounds obvious, but it's easy to fall into the trap of being consumed by negativity. A healthy degree of not giving a fuck has done wonders for me overall.
