Why do restaurants exist when you can make food at home is that the question?
It's not so much "Why do restaurants exist when you can make your own food at home?" but "Why go to a restaurant to order one of the most basic, easiest, no-fuss meals ever conceived?" Like if you're willing to pay for the overhead costs that come with ordering food, why not go for something that'd be more difficult to make and clean up after?

Furthermore, how do you FORGET TO MELT THE CHEESE

For most of history people in urban areas did not have their own kitchens, so eating at the local thermopolia in Roman cities was more economical and efficient than having every individual household start their own cooking fire and prepare their own means.

Why sugar though?
It raises the boiling point of the water. Hotter burns skin better. Salt is more effective at raising the boiling point so I'm sure "sticky" is a factor as to why they choose sugar instead.
"Concentration Effect: As water evaporates during cooking (e.g., in candy making), the sugar concentration increases, causing the boiling point to rise further; an 80% sugar solution can boil at 112°C (233°F)"

Just jump to FreeBSD. MacOS is mostly just FreeBSD but with bunch of tardrails, and FreeBSD is vastly less troon-infested than Linux.
Is FreeBSD easy at all to install? If not, is there any guide that holds your hand through it? I have the patience of a technically illiterate boomer when it comes to manually installing OS'es known for not being newcomer friendly like Arch or Gentoo.

I am mostly here to share a sad and ongoing story of one of my coworkers getting taken for a ride by his poojeeta wife. It's a long distance relationship and he's shown me pictures of her, and I think of them together but I don't have a clear memory of this so I'm unsure if they've ever physically met.

He's a visibly autistic kid so she's hit the gold mine of gullibility with him, it just depends how long she can keep the larp going or however long it takes us (me and other coworkers) to convince him he's getting scammed, but being autistic he refuses to hear any of it. It's Love with a capital L for him. He wants to visit her or for her to visit him, but the excuses are like so; "Trump's changing visa policies make it too difficult to come to the US" "It will make me too sad to part at the end of your visit so I don't want you to come in the first place". He's sending this woman who still lives in India about $1,000 a month, so I'm sure she's living it up with her family on his dollar.

I thought I was the only person who noticed what was going but it was actually another coworker who brought it up to me and mentioned that several people have tried to talk sense into him about it, he just won't believe anyone. He's not the sort of guy where you can show him other cases of Indian romance scams or he'll run to the boss calling your racism, so there's only so much you can push on him. So what the hell can you do?

it doesn't help that if you gave him The Shirt he'd look like a dead-ringer for younger Chris-chan with glasses

I was looking in the wrong place, found this and the bike vid I was looking for.

Africans mocking street food vendors:
These people are starving, and their using their food to mock Indians. Respect
That would wash off the nutrients. You simply don't understand Indian resourcefulness.

Mouth full of food. What a disgusting creature with gay ass manerisims. Was there ever a post freakout from this?

TBF tt's Canada, so the whites are equally incompetent. They aren't just working at tim hortons, so clearly it's not just an Indian problem.

“A baby here becomes an instant citizen, and then they bring the entire family in from China or India or some other hellhole on the planet,” Savage said, according to the transcript.

Found on Google Maps - not a "hellhole" apparently:

Literally practically any random place in India on Google Maps looks like this.

behind a paywall but I'd question their methodology as it's got to be hard to get accurate numbers out of India
Yes, but the thing you need to keep in mind is that most developing/corrupt countries see births overcounted instead of undercounted. This is because every local official is running a grift to get more money than is necessary allocated for things like schools and programs to eliminate child poverty.

Chinese demographers in the early 2020s had to revise birth numbers so much that they actually discovered that the median age in China likely exceeded that in the US all the way back in the early 2000s.

So in all likelihood, it's even worse in India than we think. Official data puts median age in India as 30 compared to 39 in the US, which means that India might actually be closer to 32 or 33. And then the fact that there's seemingly no jobs in the country despite it being a "young consumption powerhouse" suddenly makes sense.
