Until the finale I honestly thought they got the guy who actually played Chris R as a cute cameo so you can imagine my surprise that it was actually Effron.

I could hardly believe it was him either. He's come a long way from the Disney Channel.

I was also a little weirded out at how much Seth Rogen as Sandy Schklair sounded like Jeff from Curb Your Enthusiasm, but that's neither here nor there.

I just say the movie today, loved the hell out of it. Was really interesting seeing what led up to the making of The Room and Greg and Tommy’s relationship. Definitely gonna check out the book

I can't because I have no way to get to a movie theater without an airplane.

I've been looking around the shady movie pirate sites though. No luck yet.
TK, if you haven't already found it yet, there's a pretty good quality digital screener uploaded on putlocker.

Finally saw it. It was pretty great! Was missing a few things that I wish were included, and there was some "new" things added (like about Greg's beard), but I still really enjoyed it.

The teaser's decent, and I'm not really buying the guy who plays Mark, but regardless I can't wait for this.

And Dave Franco was a lot better than I expected.

Caught some of it last night. Seemed cute enough that I'll probably try to catch the rest eventually.

Definitely see the similarities to Burton's Ed Wood, but I don't know how many different ways you can pace "crazy guy makes bad movie" in a movie.

It's actually framed more as a story about Greg and Tommy's friendship than the movie itself. Me and my gf went to see it, and liked it.

However, I feel the adaption might have been better served as a tv mini series. Give the events more time to play out and such over 4 or so hours instead of an hour and a half.

And he brought Tommy up on stage when he accepted the award too!

And valiantly kept him away from the microphone.

Leftist Twitter is fucking BRIMMING with salt over some of the selections tonight, though that's par for the course whenever the winners aren't exclusively black, gay, or women.

I watched Disaster Artist earlier today in fact and Franco absolutely deserved it. He was fucking awesome. I checked the AVClub (I know, I know, my bad) comments section and yeah it's pretty sad. Is there any site that is good for movie coverage that also do some analytical work on awards and shit without Social Justice being in play? Like giving a rundown on the winners and who should have won instead or shit like that and not even once having to read schizophrenic salt like "mediocre white men still being awarded". I used to read AVClub quite a while ago when Justified was still on and it wasn't that bad back then, but eventually it just became a blackhole of stupidity.

Is there anywhere I can go for movies news and analysis that isn't filled with leftist autists?
