There were some good movies this year the best thing that could happen is if they drop the get woke them and reward the quality movies.

Black panther was an ok comic book movie I liked it well enough but let me restate it was an ok comic book movie. Fact it's even nominated is silly and we all fucking know why.

After watching YMS’ review of Lee’s Oldboy I actually hope Lee wins an Oscar so hacks could remake his films and alter the story in worse ways.

This entire awards cycle and its coverage could just be summed up with finding a very black man and putting him on stage with a thesaurus. He reads every synonym for "black", wearing a black suit, in front of a black curtain, for an empty theater in the pitch darkness for a month.
