This is definitely the case now. I had to get involved because I've seen Bellas before and I've seen them rip apart good people and ruin otherwise productive lives.
Thats the thing - people like Bella have existed for a long, long time. To me, it's actually really sad to see posts saying that they have lost sleep etc because if you have ever seen someone trapped in an abusive relationship, all of these deep dive conspiracies, tracking her every move, wanting to expose her, contacting her parents, scouring discord logs and creating insinuations upon a single sentence -some that exist out of context due to multiple ways the group contacted each other.
The people still actively working on this in-depth are victims of Bella's abuse. If one has never experienced this before and it's your first introduction to it existing in life, you're probably lucky because you didn't end up in the Discord server. But see how easy it is to become fascinated with people like this? Within a week, hundreds of people know all these details about her life and are eager for more. Even if its a train wreck.
People like Bella target weak and vulnerable people like Chris, Louis, Fiona and Allen. Each of them has vulnerabilities easily exploited and at this age, she has enough experience to instigate that exploitation within the first conversation.
Its not illegal to emotionally and mentally exploit someone. According to some posts, irs not illegal or a priority of punishment to kill hamsters. It's not illegal to talk to an autistic person on the phone or doctor text messages to send to your stupid friends. The school legitimately needs all parties involved to be involved in an investigation because the school is not the law and even if she gets kicked out of this school, she can pay to go to another one somewhere else because most schools at the end of the day are pay to play regardless of your background. She also has a background that would allow her to work remotely and with some finagling, create a new identity without legal means and what comes with that so getting a job will be easy. It's not illegal to say stupid things on the internet unless you're making a direct threat of life and even then it's only illegal about 1% of the time it happens online.
Her gas lighting has in turn made part of the forums look crazy because of the massive obsession with her. It is now SUPER EASY for her to spin the public narrative once the initial heat dies down because some people spent multiple sleepless hours obsessed with toe fungus, a potential dead dog, her breasts, anyone she has ever encountered, any event she attended etc and she did this on purpose because she knows how to do it and that's why Allen and Louis exist. They are not simps. They are trapped in co-dependent abusive relationships and seemingly mirroring her behavior to escape her wrath. There is zero question how she got others involved because there's an entire forum that organically sprung up dedicated to becoming involved with her.
I've been in a similar situation with a sociopathic abuser who does things that are so unbelievable it seems it cannot be true. Because of that - its actually very hard to convince others to care about what happened because they either don't believe it to be true or are unwilling to accept its true due to it shaking their core belief of human nature. Bella uses this to her advantage so she can make others look absolutely crazy for talking about hamster killing, rolling in piss etc. and you can see this in her Google Docs attempt to cover herself.
I was lurking KF heavily since January and made an account earlier this summer after assuming there was content I couldn't see as an unregistered lurker and I find human nature really fascinating so I appreciate the archival efforts and discussion around some of the strangest or most offensive people online.
My first posts have been about ILJ because even I in some ways became obsessed for my own personal reasons as I mentioned in my previous post. But now I am seeing the similarities of people who are unknowingly allowing themselves to be abused, even if its at a distance like this. And its kind of concerning. I know I'm supposed to believe everyone on KF are thick skinned meanies and bullies but some of ya'll just seem like good, unsuspecting people getting taken for a ride. That's why some people feel this is "too good to be true" or a "conspiracy" when even with the CIA parents, that's an extremely hard stretch that I won't even feel bad for being naive about on the .000001% chance it could even be true.
Anyways I'm not saying she didn't do awful things to people - she probably really did and anyone that feels upset by that has a right to feel like that. I think its just time to be realistic and start cutting ties with abuse. I kind of commend Null for not advertising this as it's kind of like putting a video of someone punching their spouse in the face on the front page with no context. Very heavy stuff here.
