Wow. How is this worse looking than I expected?

And yet, I feel doubly compelled to go see it. This looks like an epic train wreck!

Sonic but he shuts down the US powergrid so he becomes Terrorist Number one for the Pentagon to hunt down so they get Dr. Eggman, who is now an autistic 30 something who baneposts intentionally when he meets someone, to hunt Sonic down on the payroll of the US taxpayer dollar.

I... might actually go and see this; This seems like a the sort of moving that is either going to be surprisingly good or a glorious train wreak.

I legitimately cant tell you niggers how much I am hyped for this. Like this is going to be a historic movie for us.
 
For some reason I expected it to be closer to the source material, at least something about Eggman kidnapping animals, or something, not him being from the military and hunting Sonic down. Speaking of that the military scenes reminded me of the John Cena scenes from the Fred Trilogy of all things, not sure why.
 
I think i'll actually see this movie. I've been a sonic fan for a while and I cannot tell you how much of a relief it is to get a new take on the character.

seriously, for all the charm mania had it was squandered by forces... and now this. at least with this though, jim carrey is in it being... jim carrey, which is usually an amazing comedic performance.

here's hoping hollywood didn't fuck up and that if they did they at least aren't boring about it!

Edit: also... they might actually be keeping the sonic attitude everyone knows and loves. so at least they didn't fuck that up.
 
I love how they played Gangsta's Paradise in the trailer. It's like the producers knew this movie was going to be the most autistic thing to ever hit theaters so they decided to go all out.

Assuming we have interfering producers at hand who are hoping to cash in on raw autism, my hopes for Ugandan Knuckles to make a cameo come ever closer to reality
