Dopey is "cured" in the new movie after he gained confidence by some gentle female words (even if it was by zegler) which encouraged him to speak and be something other than the token idiot.

How could they all be cured/treated?

Sleepy: Has narcolepsy. Stimulant medications.

Happy: Has mania. 6mg of Risperidone daily should take care of that.

Bashful: Needs to spend more time around females (as all of them do). To avoid overprescription of medications a little brandy should do the job here.

Sneezy: As easy one. Identify and remove the cause of allergies. Anti-histamines. Consider an air purifier.

Grumpy: He is written to show that he does care deep down despite how he comes across, he just doesn't show it except when SW is poisoned. Could benefit from talking therapy.

Doc: Isn't a doctor, so the only one who isn't named after their personality/disorder. Fat fuck could lose a few pounds though.

Big Vlad does like little boys he is related to.

If they were going to change stuff from the original, they could've shuffled things so Grumpy ends up being Snow White's love interest considering that he kind of fills that role in the original.

Emma Watson didn't start off ugly; feminism ate away at her from the inside. I do agree that casting is somehow a lost art. I was randomly watching a scene from Austin Powers 3 and legit marveled at how good casting was for a parody of a parody. Yes, these people were already well established actors at the time, but if this scene was made today, it'd be Timothy Chalamet, Zendaya, and the cast of Nolan's Odyssey. Just mediocre actors that aren't even photogenic. Like, if they were good at the craft of acting, I'd be willing to overlook their lack of beauty, but they're not good at acting either.

The budget is $240-270 million?! I mean, I know inflation and all but there's no way you could have a budget that high (even accounting for re-shooting) and have something that looks that unimpressive unless there's money laundering involved.

Its money laundering, reshoots, most of the movie is CGI from the dwarves to the animals to the set pieces and locations. If they had hired 7 midgets then that would alleviate some issues but they listened to Peter Dinklage and now have to live with their shitty choices. This isnt accounting for promotional material either or how much of a cut theatres get for airing it.

With all the reshoots and rewrites, this and Captain America: Blacked will not ever break even, let alone turn a profit.

Between the two productions, Disney got two movies out of 8 movies' worth of production time and effort. Without the PR disasters, they'd be hard-pressed to get out of the red on either one.
