Shitcoins, tokens, NFTs, crypto gambling - Your favorite memes, tokens, L2s, shitcoins, low-cap gambles, and overall retarded investments

For the record, I got absolutely fucking rekt and possibly lost all the ETH I've been accumulating since 2019.

I had the bright idea to split my stack into 2 shitcoins on Base chain that could either crab or reach 50M+ mcap in a week or two thanks to Mister Miggle mania (a cat Coinbase tweeted about last month).

The ENTIRE market basically died 5 days later. I am forced to hold these two dead pieces of shit and hope for the best.

Please elaborate.
I'm noob to the crypto scene and least of all I understand the memecoins.
How come they emerge? They don't serve any purpose, they're not part of some smart contracting technology, they aren't an incentive to fund a company providing valuable service.
They're nothing.
They're...what are they even?
You just wait for the americans to go to sleep and sell, then you buy. Americans wait for you to sell and they buy back. Is this how this works? We just swap money with each other ad infinitum?

How do you recognize when a new memecoin is gonna 400x?
Yesterday saw something getting shilled, PipperPepe or something like that. It seemed like rugpull 101, but what would stop me to put 500 bucks in it, wait for it to double and pull back? Isn't this like free money? Will they always pull the rug before I can do my shenanigans?
WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS THING PLEASE HELP ME
Take a look at Solana, get a wallet like phantom and see what coins come up in that ecosystem, I'm pretty lazy and use a centralised exchange. There is a whole rabbit hole of people who make money use infinitesimal fractions of a cent.

Expect to lose money, if it's money you can't afford to lose, please don't spend it.

You didn't create a broader portfolio? say look at narratives like AI, gaming coins, layer one coins, stable coins?

It's what I did yeah. Now, do I gamba with some lucrative shitcoins or do I hold my Solana for the long run, putting some more in it on intervals? I like how it recovered from last Monday's fiasco. Should I start bagging some Bitcoin just in case?
I bought some $HEGE and there's non-zero chance it will explode. Will popcat pump again?
There are so many scams and rugpulls on Solana yet Solana itself is surprisingly legitimate and stable. Saw some reddit posts from like 2 years ago saying Sol will die in 2 more weeks. Seems like a good long run investment at this point, no?

A layer one like Solana looks interesting to me, nothing wrong with dollar cost averaging every couple of times, I should probably take some cash out of my meme coins to focus on it, frankly.

I like the look of $HEGE, I have a bad habit of sticking to 1 CEX out of laziness/convenience and it has kept me away from some more speculative plays out there when I do have access to DEXs like Raydium & Jupiter via my phantom wallet.

Give it to me straight cryptobros, is Coinbase a bad choice to operate through? Should I hop on Binance? Kraken? I read a shitload of negative opinions about people getting their Coinbase assets frozen with no explanation and no feedback from customer support.
Are they all retards doing shady shit or is Coinbase an unpredictable and low trust exchange?

Just looked at Sundog after a biz thread. It..ooks like it's less than a week old. Unless I'm reading this wrong. It's hit that level in less than a week
Kaspa hasn't even hit this. Wut. Anyone else on Tron ecosystem stuff?

We had a decent jump just a while ago, all my memecoins like Grimace bounced up a bit. Anyone else?
Made a few small bucks on HEGE in the most recent pump. Got lucky and exited just before it got dumped into the ground, should've bought much more of this shitcoin but you never fucking know with these scams.

What other meme coins are you buying? These past 2 weeks I haven't had the time to research and read into what's what. Also when's the next bull season? I'm thinking of buying some more Solana and Ethereum and really can't tell what the fuck is going on with Bitcoin and when/if it's going above 70k again....

my grimace jumped up a bit in the last bounce then receded but I'm waiting long term. I still wouldn't have minded if I had put in price stop gaps to take in profit. I've found that phantom as a wallet does not play nice with various Dexes. Got an okx wallet to try to get into ton meme coins but they are kind of whack mostly.

Solana apparently has a lot of meme coins. I keep seeing Uranus (ANUS) being peddled. Brock Pierce is supposedly supporting it. Anyone have any experience in it?
Just using Phantom to get solana memecoins on DEXes, but I keep on having issues with it with on pump.fun and other sites so just be careful.

Can somebody please elaborate here? I'm still not sure what to use long term. Trading fees in Kraken are 0.25%/0.40% and Binance are significantly lower at 0.1%/0.1%
Redditors are saying Binance will someday burst in flames and Kraken is the best but these fees are fucking retarded.
Coinbase is...I don't even know what the fuck is wrong with it other than people complaining about non-existent customer support which I guess is not a small issue.

Also, I need some more opinions regarding wallets. Currently using Coinbase Wallet for most of my shit. Should I put everything in Atomic Wallet instead? Why should I use Phantom? How is it better?
How do I avoid the bullshit gas price for Ethereum?

Coinbase recently froze my account after multiple years of use with zero responsiveness from support, I’ve made the switch to Kraken and currently have had nothing but a positive experience. Although I only use it to deposit and withdraw fiat.

As for holding funds on a wallet if you are just holding them there I highly suggest not holding them on an exchange. Think of an exchange like this- your crypto is not actually sitting there but it’s just a number put on the screen. Consider holding your funds on a cold wallet like a ledger or if this isn’t an option a wallet like Exodus is perfect. Look into hot and cold wallets and don’t let exchanges hold your funds if they are just sitting there. (I don’t mess around with longs/shorts as I’m strictly a shitcoin trader so I have no input there.)

Thanks for the reply.
Shortly after writing the post I switched to Kraken and am holding most of it on a hot wallet.

Anyone else taking massive losses across the board right now? I can’t tell if there’s something going on with affecting Ethereum shitcoin prices universally or if I’m just retarded and unlucky.
