I'm glad things turned out a bit less depressing for the Scotsman than I'd imagined.

I'm also really loving Ashi as a character. I like it when things leave a huge emotional impact on characters where they can be moved by things. She seems to harbor a large protective streak towards children based on how she was raised and it makes sense. I hope she's able to reach Jack in time before he does what I think he's doing...

Kind of sad the Scotsman killed. I thought he'd have more tangible part in the series. Obstinate to the very end...

The Scotsman pissed off Aku and worsened his depression. He'll be present in spirit for at least a while. Literally.

I feel like it's being set up for the Scotsman's army, Aishi, and (maybe) some other characters to meet up with Jack in preparation for the final battle against Aku. I could be completely wrong, of course.

My usual torrent site failed me and I had to search out this episode like a fucking animal.

The bit with the Scotsman felt completely unconnected to the rest of the episode. I hope that plot goes somewhere.

The bit with Ashi being shown the world was great. But it was overall frustrating that we're 5 episodes in and Jack still doesn't have his sword. Hope that changes by next episode. An okay episode but ultimately it felt like filler.

That kind of annoyed me. Why the fuck would the Scotsman launch an all out attack on Aku without Jack? I'm pretty sure he knows that Jack's sword is the only thing that can actually defeat Aku.

Pretty sure the scotsman and his army will force Jack to make up his mind and get on his feet again. Wouldn't be the first time he actually rescued Jack after all.
Kind of sad how easily and fast he got killed, but taking in consideration that 50 years have passed and he was still super crazy (awesome) and got killed by Aku himself, it was kind of a good way to go.
I liked the episode in general, kind of fast how Aishi turned to team Jack but it was really predictable since the first episode. Anyway, it's good to see old characters again, I hope they bring some more if possible.

The Scotsman admitted he really wasn't thinking right after Aku fucked up his army. I blame it on Ol' Scotty getting desperate because he wanted to see Aku die before kicking the bucket himself... Not like he knows where Jack is anyways.

Next episode preview shows Ashi meeting up with the Woolies (I think) from the first season. And maybe we'll finally find out who the fuck that samurai on horseback is.

I'm glad the Scotsman is still gonna have a presence in the show as a ghost, I was kinda shocked when I saw him get killed by Aku so easily.

Well he was extremely old.

Anybody else think the daughters are going to re forge the Scotsman's sword and Jack will use it to slay Aku?

Última edición:
I don't think Jack's sword can be destroyed. He'll find a way to get it again. Maybe the Scotsman's broken sword will be re-forged and Ashi will use it?

Gee, even after slaughtering two battalions and killing off an old Scotsman, Aku is still like "I wanna fucking kill myself".

Ruling the world with an iron fist does a number on you.

TFW you get roasted by a crippled old man with a machine gun leg.

Somebody once told me
That my daughter was gonna roll me
I'm not the sharpest magic sword in the shed

He was looking kinda funny
With eyebrows of flame
Above his forehead

And the years start coming and they don't coming and they don't stop coming and they don't stop coming

Did people start sperging about that part with the rapefugee yet?

Not yet, as far as I can tell. It's kind of gone totally untouched on. There are an inordinately large amount of people sperging over shipping Ashi with one of Scotsman's daughters though. You know. Because they've shared dialogue with each other at some point.

...I hate Tumblr.
