One of the most endearing Russisms is his warped idea of fairness. He compares apples and oranges to draw some sort of perceived double standard to justify whatever he's doing.
I think it's more amusing that when he hears that the law is about back and forth argument discussion, it seems like he interprets it as being, "Both sides accuse each other of wrongdoing, and both are punished or not punished for it." It never occurs to him that maybe if one side constantly gets into trouble and the other doesn't, it's because the side that's getting into trouble keeps fucking up and it's going to continue happening until they comply with the rules.
But of course Russell believes he did nothing wrong (so only one side is fucking up, the one he's not on, obviously), but if he did it's not his fault (because this isn't his full-time job), but if it is his fault it's not that bad (because he's just a poor widdle retard), but if it is that bad Kiwifarms IS A STALKING WEBSITE AND THIS IS A COPYRIGHT CASE!
Objectively, since the 10th sent it back down has anything actually happened that procedurally progressed the case in any meaningful way? 3 years later we haven't even made it to discovery
I would at least assume they would go over everything that happened to try to find a reason to moot it only to wonder what the fuck is going on. Could they demand that bowtie and his sidekick rule on all pending motions within a week?
Something worth considering is that courts especially the higher up you go do not have a lot of time to carefully consider cases. There are just so many things constantly pulling on the circuit courts demanding attention.
They will absolutely do as little as possible in trying to understand a case before they rule on it.
Like Russell or not (And I don't), I think that the court is going to continue to conjure up reasons to keep this stupid bullshit going on at the expense of Null. But if I did want something to happen in terms of judge activity (besides dismissal of the case entirely), what I think should happen which would cause the greatest potential for comedy is for them to finally fucking rule on the amount of sanctions that Hardin deserves to receive from Greer for his constant (il)legal fuckery. It's been so long I don't even remember the exact amount, but I'm pretty certain it's in the thousands. That's thousands he doesn't have.
It's not that many motions to rule on, it's very obvious Russell fucking earned the sanctions against him, and he will infinitely plightsperg any amount judged against him, no matter how insignificant. And the severity of his plightsperging will be significant, because few things actually receive Greer's attention quite like the threat of HIS finances being at risk, even though everything he does legally is to financially harass and destroy people because he's a fucking subhuman who can't tolerate perceived slights, even if he has to imagine them.
I'd be willing to bet at least one dollar ($1) that when he does get sanctioned, that if the case gets dismissed, he's going to say that he doesn't have to pay it anymore because the case is dismissed (even though it shouldn't have been brought back in the first place). And then Hardin gets to menace him for that shit for the rest of his life.
