it'd be normal for skinner, prettier queens to be catty and insulting towards fat queens
Not to mention all fat queens wear the same outfit and it's exhausting. It's always a body suit with some ornaments attached with the same shape and lazy effort. I remember Courtney Act shitting on all the fat queens during his season. Wish that was normalized again.

I'm a fan of the series but I finally got burned out trying to watch this shit. It's so manufactured now--the show got popular for being messy and dramatic. But even back in the day when season 7 aired I knew the queens were becoming self aware and were holding back on acting like cunts. It's been "best friends race" for years don't bother watching.

Early Drag Race seasons were heavily influenced by America's Next Top Model and had all the qualities of 2000's reality shows. People being messy, fighting constantly, saying slurs nobody would air today, all while being subjected to some of the most unhinged challenges ever aired on TV. Seasons 1 to 5 were fun, had plenty of opinioted characters who didnt care if what they said was homophobic or transphobic or not PC in anyway. After that, the show attracted some of the most vile and delusional faggot fans out of any media out there and as a result of that contestans nowadays self produce so hard so they wont piss off the faggot hive mind (everyone Ive met that is a fan of the show is the same stereotypical Yassss Queen faggot with the same opinions and maneurisms as the rest of them).
I do find some queens genuinly entertaining (Trixie, Katya, Jimbo) but, even as a faggot I honestly cant stand the show today.

All I know about this show since I don't watch it cause i'm not a fag or a woman is that there's been at least a few people on it who have either been exposed as sexpests and pedos and a bunch who have had pre-mature deaths because of AIDS.

I'm only peripherally aware of this show and knew of RuPaul from Celebrity Deathmatch and that Pickle Surprise video that got passed around on youtube ages ago. I do recall hearing about the one contestant having a bunch of sex pest accusations and then RuPaul making that gross Drag Tots cartoon.

Speaking of, Gottmik, can someone explain what the fuck goes on in her head? She transitioned to become a man only to dress up as a woman as her job..?
This shitted me to no end, ugly mutt of a woman even uglier man. And a deranged performance art tranny now. Like girl just gobble cock like god intended for you.

I barely watch Snooze pauls drag race now, as others have said it's just manufactured slop without the uncut, unhinged drama of 2000's. I really liked the first seasons seeing who could actually sew and design their own clothes. Probably why the a lot of women got into initially costume and design was a big part of the show, also the early snatch games could be pretty funny.

After it got trannied and every bitch learned how to sew because the formula of the show was well heeled, then it got boring amongst other things, I switched over to Boulet Brothers Dragula, but then the money got involved and the quirky show just turned into "creepy" version fo RPDR where drama just got pushed instead of weird fashion.

Like the first season winner of Dragula really earned it, but this is about nigger poof and his narcissism media empire.

Speaking of which, I'm guessing most of you haven't watched Canada's Drag Race season 4. It had a pooner by the name of Denim who is very much like Gottmik but with the vocal fry and theater kid vibe turned up to 11. Legitimately difficult to watch. During the show one of the male queens said he had a crush on her and I was like yeah sure buddy.

Can't believe this didn't have a thread.

It's such a huge waste of money in my opinion. I've watched some of the show on YouTube and my ex's TV and one reason I avoided watching it for very long was the production cost. I always get this sick feeling when thinking about the budget of the program and where all of that shit goes by the ending. There are some great cringe shots of trannies in outfits that will probably just rot in a studio wardrobe. They're usually ugly and typical of drag culture, which isn't really a pretty business either, given the amount of energy invested into makeup and wardrobe. Super Quinceañera was the better girlfriend pick every time.

There's also the sort of passive-aggressive shit in the troon community that the show documents like any reality TV show, and the natural consequences of being surrounded by queer people hopped up on nudity and body odor. I can't really enjoy that kind of exploitation, especially in such a hyper-sexual situation where the show records and celebrates shade thrown at such sensitive people. Triggers me to no end. I feel sorry for the male contestants because, if they weren't creeps themselves, they work with creeps they likely didn't want to know just to get attention on their bodies. I certainly wouldn't want to hear the judgments of most of the people in the show, either—people going on reality TV to sell gender is such a nasty business. It's their lifestyle, though, so I guess there isn't anyone to feel sorry for (other than the viewer, which is why I have to opt out like @VeteranOfTheRetardWars).

I am white and agendered so I'm not an enemy of their actual hobby. But I'd hate to go on thinking I was my best self™ only to get spanked in front of a camera. RuPaul himself isn't awful but his show is a reality TV show. Creepy lechers in every shot. Worse, if you're an ofay there's that rape fetishism everyone hints at through episodes, too.

Women who transition to become drag queens have the same vibes as fujoshis who want to become men just to fuck other men

During a controversial video uploaded yesterday ranking all Drag Race winners, popular drag YouTuber Mera Mangle forgot to edit out a clip of him pulling his pants down to itch his balls.

Oh yeah I remember Denim--most of the fanbase couldn't stand this sperg. Only reason they tolerated Gottmik at first is she wasn't as autistic and annoying until she became Violet's shadow.

Is anything post season 14 worth watching? The strange thing about season 14 is how horrible the production and set up for it was at the expense of a very interesting and talented cast. That season's tone was overall very weird and despite enjoying almost every queen that season and considering them my favourite cast of the first 14 seasons, it not only fell horribly short, but left a bad taste in my mouth. Haven't kept up with the queens much outside of the show though.

I'm gonna vote no because I can't even remember who was on it or what happened.
