I had a passing thought that they might try and make Rockfort open world since they flirted with it with 4make and gave it a shot with Requiem. And RE9 was supposed to be open world before it was retooled into Requiem.

That'd be sweet. I have a feeling though that because 9 sold like hotcakes we're gonna get something reallllllllllly similar to it where they do the whole split campaign thing (but actually split this time) and do the one in first-person and one in third-person because that's what the Fans Want. And especially with the Chris memes hitting critical capacity and most people not knowing who the fuck he is except from 5/7 onwards, he has this reputation for being an ultimate roided out badass, so there's your wicked awesome Leon-style backhalf all set up and ready to go.

CV is a very annoying game that I have been begging them to actually remake so I just hope they don't get too lazy and A) not listen and learn from the complaints people had with 9 and B) pull another 3make but it seems like the backlash from that one spooked them a bit.

I agree that Chris's gameplay should have a stand out from Claire's buuuut I do not think he should act like he has his RE 5 build as he didnt really bulk up that much until AFTER seeing an once dead man punch him across the room like he was a ragdoll.

The confrontation with Wesker was a traumatic event for Chris that really caused him to focus on building himself into a human tank so he can stand a bit more of a chance next time.

Besides, we already had Remake Carlos socking enemies in the face so I kind of fear that if Chris does something like that, it will just feel too derivative (then again, Carlos did steal the punching thing from Chris...)

I didn't liked that much RE3R Carlos design and by any means I pray they really REALLY just fucking stick to RECVX chris design on his early STARS days and not fucking do a bad mistake with a very shitty or inspired design on the mocap actor.
