TBH that comes more from Barbs side than Chris's and more specifically Barb herself, Bob had his faults but he was more of a old school guy who if he cocked up would stand up an take responsibility for it.
Chris was most likely a terror when he was a kid, as he's confessed giving his parents so much grief by "screeching" and being out of control. It's probably why his other family members stopped inviting the Chandlers over to their houses and why Chris didn't do any normal kid things like trick or treating. Just because Chris couldn't talk didn't mean he couldn't make noise.
This was the case, He was autistic and that could be a issue for any parent especially in the 80's an 90's for older parents who where more used to being able to put a kid down and they would behave and be managed by older kids if they started acting up but Chris didn't respond or behave like a normal child so was left to do his own thing by those who would have normally kept him in line amongst his own pier group (and it would have been to much for them to even try). Chris was non verbal and also was extreemly low intellect so even if he was verbal or "communicative" to borrow a term from the era he had no social understanding as to what was appropriate to his source of discomfort i.e. I can see him not liking a song and chimping out on a speaker etc, even today these kids exist (and for other reasons not being manageable) so Chris made his family and himself more isolated.
I'm guessing it is a combination of mental illness, wishful thinking, ignorance of science, and not really thinking of the issues that would come up with fiction going real.
It's a mix of wishful thinking and low intelligence and a dash of miscommunication and understanding, lots of well meaning but ill thought out communication in special needs is "If you want it you can make it" and is better known as "Fake it till you make it" in normal circles, a lot of special needs education in the 80's 90's and to a lesser extent today teaches special needs kids if they believe in something and work towards it you can make it happen, this is normally something attainable i.e. they are starting to fall behind the rest of there class when it comes to something like Art or Reading.
In cases like that it is normally something that they can get extra assistance with or try and they can keep up even at a lower level with there class or family etc and then when they do reach a plateau of ability that desire to improve is channelled into something else they can do, When I was in school around the same time as Chris there was a special needs girl who stopped being able to read an write at a comprehension level of a 10 year old who was obsessed with Rabbits who's desire to improve got channelled into art who then because of her limited interests and growing age started drawing people as rabbits an thinking rabbits could be people and essentially anthropomorphised her entire world like that.
Could that be why "Chris Chan" as a "Tomgirl" doesn't get along with animals that well?
Animals just don't like Chris, even one's he's in close association with who "know" what he's like, he thinks he is being nice to them but he's rough handling them and can't tell when they want to be left alone. If he wants to play with a animal he will play with them and not pick up on body language or other indications and will harass a animal till it's forced to act hostility to him to get him to leave them alone and he doesn’t like that and will react to it. The only animal I'd say that ever really liked Chris was his old Dog Patty an that’s why her death hit him so hard he resurrected her in sonichu form. On Patty’s part that was having to grow up with him and knowing that there was no relief from him so to play along an hopes he gets bored an fucks off, he's also bad at handling animals and not just in a clumsy way kids can be where you can see they are trying to take care but are not strong enough or big enough, animals will put up with that especially with people they trust upto a point but if it's regular mishandling will fight against it if they believe that's going to happen thats why you see Chris's cat's never relax around him but tolerate his presence and limited attention but will start showing signs of distress around him if he starts handling him, he's less likely to do that with the dog's as when a dog displays it's displeasure it's more direct an painful so they have weirdly reverse trained him to not handle them to roughly.
I still strongly believe that one day, out of the blue, without any drama, saga development,0 CWC will turn into Classic Chris-chan again and this will give us some really, but really long, interesting comics, drawings and story about how CWC became Classic Chris again, this mighty give us new insights into his mind, previously undiscovered trolls and brand new sagas of Chris-Chan having to face becoming classic CWC again.

He legitimately can't, as much as educators and special needs advocates protest that they are just as capable the hard and sad truth is there are limits to ability even if someone is "slow" even if they want to improve they just can't because they can't connect the dots of information needed to progress at a fundamental level, Chris is at the level of artistic ability where he is aware perspective is a thing but is not aware of what that is so if someone in his mind is important is larger than. those in the foreground, in normal kids this represented by a subject of a drawing being big followed by people followed by situational details even if dotted around the drawing morphing into something more natural even if they are not interested in art, Chris is aware of this but doesn’t understand it so retreats into his understanding leading to his unique art style of adult subject mater but extremely childish drawings where is more modern improvements are down to him apeing others styles not developing his own.

It's common with a lot of special needs kids, the Parents dress special needs kids in the most non descriptive way yet age appropriate way they can think of to try an draw less attention to there special needs kids however this also ends up signalling that they are not right to the wider world, it's one of the few things I've never called Borb out directly on as while it's done from a kindness it ends up signalling to the wider world that the child isnt right, and indicates that the child isnt expressing there own preferences something that is normal and the parent responds too even in subtle ways.

Hi I'm fairly new to Chris as a whole, I just wanted to ask, how does the tranny community see Chris? Do they support him? How do they reconcile the fact that he did unspeakable things to his mother?
At best they validate his "Trans" identity but reject him as a whole as he brings a lot of uncomfertable truths to light about certain aspects abotu the larger communuty and the followers he beings with him, this happened with Broneys and other fandoms he's expressed an intrest in, as I said above before the Barbening he was at best a mascot to teh small gay community at Pulse and was tollerated at various LGBT events as the special needs guy who had been bullied online, and the LGBT community having an attitude of "All are welcome" got him a lot of leway and gentile correction like is post about Gays should be thankful they are part of the LBT community posts he made etc got him some mild but gentile rebukes in person but enough to make him viewed as "Special needs kid means well but is really stupid but is harmless". Once he wore his welcome thin an realised he wasn't going to get China and started looking for other sources and then did what he did the wider LGBT community wants nothing to do with him and at most defend him for being bullied online but most either reject him or are outright hostile to him and find a way to legitimise kicking him out of the wider community.
