The Idea Guys and Caden really ruined Chris
Before they messed with "Honor Roll", the "lore" of "Sonichu" was far less convoluted, and he didn't have all those "goddess" or "merge" delusions. So not only did they ruin him, they also made the "lore" delirious and much harder for a mentally healthy person to figure out. What with BS of Nazis, moon lasers, and something about serial killers.

Still the design of Ted BunddyChu will always make me laugh.

The Sonichu lore had Its fate sealed with the Tom girl bullshit. Chris Remaking the Sonichu 0 cover with himself as a girl was sacrilige.

hey @Death of an Ego

If the fat ego of "Chris Chan" ever ended, it could be like some ginormous messy explosion.

So in other words, it "went woke went broke" (assuming that it wasn't broke to begin with)?
To be honest, I've never been anything like a Christorian. I read the lolcattle side of the forums here and there, but I joined under a different username for what's now A&N back in 2015 when dear feeder made it non public for SEO or whatever. You aren't wrong though. One of the funniest things about Chris is his vastly unwarranted egotism. From what I've read of his antics, he's just smart enough to know he's not stupid, but not smart enough to gather that he's hilariously hostile and his brainpan is half full of grey matter and the rest is piped in from the lower reaches of his small intestine.

No, he's definitely stupid. Like certainly would qualify for special ed classes

Thats stupid because they are completely separate franchises anyway. Chris is weird in the way he makes these connections to stuff he personally believes has ownership over.
He probably saw Pokemans advertisements and hype start to wane, then all of sudden Harry Potter stuff starts replacing the commercials and stuff he saw on TV and thought they were pushing Pokemon out of the picture.

Chris is heavily influenced by commercialized stuff.

Maybe he expected the pokeymans hype to never fade, and was all creepy stare surprised Pikachu face when it did fade like all fads do.

I can still recall the height of all that 'mons hype, around the time the first movie came out. Fast food stuff, marketing on that "Lunchables" stuff, Mew downloading events at malls, the older anime on TV, the card game, the vidya of the card game, card game magazines, marketing on school supplies, "fundies" claiming the franchise is demonic...

How did "Honor Roll" balloon out so fast after graduation? A man's metabolism should not really slow down until he's more middle-aged.

Is eating fast food almost every day really all it took to turn "Honor Roll" into a fatass so freakishly fast?

You'd be surprised. At school, Chris got much, much more exercise just by walking to classes, walking around campus and doing bare minimum PE. Add into prepared lunches meant that Chris's calories weren't that out of control, but even then, you can see he was pretty portly.

Once that went away and he was left to his own devices, why not just buy and consume anything he wanted?

Trolls gave Chris a $500 gift card and tracked what he bought, here's a list of some of the stuff:

Multiple visits to Sheetz per day, with some shitty Mexican place and then McDonalds. He did this almost daily. Then add in the amount of walking he did was from his house to his car and from his car into the establishments, then from his car to his room. It's honestly staggering the amount of fast food he ate, and Sheetz is known for selling mostly fried foods, verses other types of shops.

Compare Chris to Ulillillia, who similarly had a bad diet of eating a Dominos cheese pizza a day. He eventually started soaking up the grease on top and recorded his weight loss, which helped him lose a lot of weight. Chris on the other hand never did anything like that and instead, at the urging of trolls, would walk or run like one time, video it and then proceed to brag about his exercise, but then at the same time would downplay just how fat he was.

One thing I noticed about his Amazon listing after he went to jail was he had sexy clothes in there that were in sizes way too small for him, so either he grossly underestimates how big he is, or he was going to buy them for Barb to wear.

...did Chris get, "But back in the stone-age" from Home Movies? There's a super similar joke at the timestamp:
Lynch: Colors and music works for almost any age-
Brendon: But that's- yeah okay- that's true-
Lynch: Except for maybe the paleolithic age. Huh? eh? It's a joke Brendon, I mean, that's when the cavemen lived, during the paleolithic age.
It's just such a specific kind of joke that it made me do a double-take.
