Sounds good to me.

Hate to get all theological, but there are a few verses that I keep close to my heart, especially in the wake of all the SJW and woke pandering in recent years.

“1 Corinthians 13 1: If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.”

“ Matthew 6: 1-4: Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

"Even though a moon cannot make light... moon light exists."

one of the final episodes of the reboot of the English comedy show Red Dwarf. Fantastic show if you haven't seen it, and shocking to me how profound a comedy show could be for how absurd and silly it was.
unrelated clip from the show's earlier seasons that has another quote to live by:

"Smoke me a kipper I'll be back for breakfast!"

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” -George Santayana.

Same shit different decade. Now with internet!

"Its amazing what you can do when you aren't aware of what you can't do." --Garfield (yes, the cat).

Its true though. 99% of all failure is just because you convinced yourself (or allowed someone to convince you) that something could not be done.

Not a quote, but the fable of the frog and the scorpion resonates to me.

A scorpion asks a frog to carry it across a river. The frog hesitates, afraid of being stung, but the scorpion argues that if it did so, they would both drown. Considering this, the frog agrees, but midway across the river the scorpion does indeed sting the frog, dooming them both.

Moral of the story: some people are just wicked/evil by their nature. They'll screw you over even against their own interest just because..
