Honestly it's fucking remarkable how little situational awareness and selective memory a person can have, or how utterly disingenuous one dude can be. Since dingdong acts like he was singled out entirely when everyone picked and poked at each other for funsos and they were laughing at it at the time on top of that, when tomar practically has an entire litany of warcrimes attributed to him, even the ones he didn't do!

The sheer amount of the irish man getting hit with "What the fuck are you talking about" often by DD himself too and nearly word for word 1:1 agreeing with sentiments that went into things like the zach bit about "I have a bum leg and a bum eye and PTSD-" and then the turnabout of "That's meant to hurt people who have that" when the disingenious retard would go on spiels that were just less concise and funny to the same tune.

He wants his "I was just kidding" cake and to eat it too without anyone else getting a slice.
 
Something that immediately just made me feel like shit about the whole situation is when DD mentioned Chris' slight against Mick in that one Sonic playthrough they did. When Chris made the "power move" remark, months before anyone had come out about Mick and Veronica. Ideally DD shouldn't have been following Chris' drama closely enough to even know about that, but I guess I can't blame him because of how big PowermoveGate (Mickgate? Veronighazi??) became. More importantly, that cannot be beneficial for someone with paranoid delusions to hear because in his mind, it validates all his neuroses. Even if you take the least charitable interpretation of Chris from all this, he just sounds at worst like an unprofessional, moody manchild which...to be fair we already know that about him lol. I can't help but feel bad for DD because I have people like DD in my family and I know how much life sucks for someone whose brain is constantly working against them like that, but I also know how impossible it is to have relationships with those people. We all know that Chris was absolutely talking shit about Mick in that video, but the man tried to drunkenly embarrass him in public and take his recently ex gf out on a boat, that is leagues different than what essentially adds up as two friends just not really working great together. DD doesn't even really deserve the targeted hatred and manipulation he thinks he's getting but he can't escape his own brain, and it's not going to stop until he decides to help himself.

Simultaneously though, there's a cutoff where it starts to get goddamn ridiculous not to start trying to do things to help yourself. And he's been in thoroughly grown ass man territory for a loooong time.

If you're 12-28 having these sorta issues? Cool sure. You're young and shit is difficult and you shouldn't get shit for problems if you're at least trying to get to the bottom of them.
If you're 30+ and still plagued by the ghost of the locker room towel whippings you are just doing yourself a disservice at that point.
Either due to total inaction to do anything about it or making it worse by wallowing in it and indulging and fueling it.

There's a distinct and appreciable difference between having a problem and looking for solutions and having a problem and looking for more problems.

i dont fucking understand these sort of people and this mindset where people were just destined to find them at a certain moment and because they were doing the sell out thing they got cosmically locked into it instead of what they wanted to do. they act like the obstacle is their oney rep instead of the actual obstacle being the general difficulty of being visible and accepted in the market for eyeballs, and that the oney rep is a vehicle towards and not an obstacle in the path from whatever they want to do. theres this mindset where if youre trying to make something like a game, and if youre known from something like oneyplays, that if they say "hey guys oney plays, and also my game!" that if people tune out of the latter half of that its because that damn fucking uh oney fuckin plays made them tap out of my proposal GUUUUH! but no oneyplays is the reason you had anyone listening to that proposal, the obstacle is that general default disinterest its just the oneyplays stuff wasnt enough of a boost to catch that particular eyeball and maybe many of the eyeballs that oneyplays brought in.

.... i mean oneyplays in general was actually chris using his animation fame to do something easier to stay afloat, alot of his fans still just like the cartoons. he didnt say AERRRRGHHH the fuckin cartoons made letsplaying less profitable for me because some of my fans wont tune in!
