👓 TGWTG Nostalgia Chick / Lindsay Ellis / TheDudette - aka Hotdogs in face girl

Guess she'll never fully commit to nebula cause she knows where the simps are
Ok so I'm starting this video, and it seems to be basically her own version yms's kimba video. Except with the video being about the thief and the cobbler vs Aladdin. Also she's wrong on Richard Williams being known for the titles for the pink panther "series." While imo those are his best animated title sequences, he only did 2 of the movies (the return of the pink panther and the pink panther strikes again. Which are the more popular movies in the franchise) while most of the title sequences for the pink panther franchise were animated by depatie-freleng enterprises (the studio that actually animated the shorts for the franchise)

I saw Tom Scott's return video on a few different pirate sites despite it only being exclusive to Nebula for one week. I always keep an eye out for Lindsay's stuff and never see it, even their Jet Lag show gets pirated and that's another one that goes to Youtube after a short amount of time. It seems like even Nebula subscribers don't care about her exclusive videos.

For some reason got recommended this video by Youtube, not really sure why. Either way, not really interested in seeing a second of this. I assumed it was about The Thief and the Cobbler, and whatever happened it's a pretty sad story. And as far as I know the accusation wasn't really that they copied it for Aladdin, it was more that they bought the rights for it and sabotaged it. Although that doesn't make that much sense since a butchered version had already been released before Miramax/Disney bought the rights for it.

Haven't watched it yet, but apparently she says Aladdin is the first Disney movie to depict poor people despite constantly referencing Oliver And Company in the video.

Again, these people have no understanding of plagiarism 'cause they're not actually capable of creating actually good work. Most people don't know this, but Lucas took a lot of inspiration from 7 Samurai. But guess what, Lindsay? People take inspiration. From things they like, you dumb bitch. Now go back and being angry. At that stupid nigger who basically ripped off a dust till dawn winning an Oscar.
Now if Lindsay really wanted to be spiteful, she could make a fool. At least 3 hour video on Ryan Coogler. Because Ryan Kukla Sinners is 100 percent the most unoriginal straight up rip off of Dust, tailed on like there's not even any differences. It's literally the exact same movie.

Its just we wuz from dusk till dawn but set in the south in the 30s instead of Mexico in the 90s. Same vampire orgy party thing too just full of niggers

And no Tarantino drinking tequila off of Selma Hayek’s foot to satisfy his fetish. So that’s one point for Sinners.
The only things closest to that in that sinners movie is the one of the black brothers fucking the white vampire chick who is ugly and name i can't remember. That movie was so milque toast shit and everyone (not on the farms) fucking glazes that movie.

Since YMS did the Kimba vs. Lion King takedown and Lindsay did the Aladdin vs. Thief and the Cobbler, who is going to finish the trifecta of Disney plagiarism allegations and do Atlantis: the Lost Empire vs. Nadia?

On Bluesky, Lindsay was asked why her South Park video wasn't on Youtube, and gave a vague answer implying there's some legal SNAFU related to "Nebula original" videos:

Further evidence Nebula is barely scraping by/not even Breadtube fans are willing to pay for said streaming service.

The Nebula CEO explained that in his PBS interview - he's close personal friends with the employee in charge of the Youtube algorithm - in case you ever wondered why Youtube pushes so much Breadtuber slop.

On the topic of plagiarism , I saw a video years ago covering the EXACT SAME topic as Lindsay's current video (Did Disney plagiarize Aladdin from the Thief and the Cobbler?). Heck, said video literally appears ahead of Lindsay's video in the Youtube search!

so is the part where she's "crying" real? Seems pretty faked...but I'm also not a woman or given birth to kids, so I don't know if her remark about having a kid fucks with your brain is true

In women diagnosed with a mental illness/susceptible to serious mental illness (for example, a family history of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder) they're at risk of developing postpartum depression/postpartum psychosis/new or worsening mental health issues immediately following pregnancy.

Considering Lindsay had a prior involuntary psychiatric hospital stay (for "Twitter induced PTSD" 🙄) she likely isn't faking her random bursts of tears (...does she just suddenly cry in the video? Weird she didn't edit it out/reshoot the scene) or lying about having pregnancy induced brain fuckery. As much as I a-log her for being a hardcore shitlib/KKK apologist (...in hindsight, her contradictory political views are definitely signs she's a few french fries short of a Happy Meal), I do hope Lindsay is able to get treated and recover from whatever psychiatric issue she is currently suffering from.

it's not sudden, she does warn us and explains that ever since having a child she is prone to crying more without restraint. Mentions she cried when watching that new movie hamet, then proceeds to cryish in the video talking about some specifics in the topic (i was half paying attention, but i think it was about the homo guy who died from aids who did lots of the 80/90's disney music)

In hindsight, that does sound performative af/maybe its a new angle to grift from her paypig simps? (...since they clearly aren't willing to pay for Nebula).

It's not like she has a real job. She could have cried prior to filming - got all the sad feelings out, took a lithum, than filmed the video essay. I thought she cried randomly during the video, than edited in an explanation subtitle onscreen. No one wants a long pause in the middle of a video essay to hear an off topic rant about a Youtuber's struggles with postpartum depression or whatever.

The man who made the exact same video as her 4 years ago, didn't pause to cry.

It's a video and she's ostensibly a professional video editor. If she's crying in her video, it's intentional as a manipulation tool. Lindsay has the luxury of a thousand takes of any segment if she so chooses, but she chose to publish that one because her eyes are her best feature on screen now that her tits have aged out and behold the depth of her feels. Gross.

It's also aggravating that she complains about her audience forming parasocial relationships with her but then chooses takes which create the illusion of her having a vulnerable unguarded conversation with that audience like she's their friend.

At one point in the video she tells people saying she never does content any more to go on Nebula, but just so happens to not mention that it's a subscription service.

I'm about halfway through the video and she's really trying not to offend Disney by claiming they stole it by keeping as neutral as possible. One comment I will make is that her talking about her little ones being into Frozen made me realize that had her first baby been born, she would have been about four when Frozen came out and Lindsay could have experienced that when it was fresh and new.
