Apologies for the doublepost, but it appears Lindsay stepped in shit again due to *checks notes* making a long distasteful ableist joke/shitting on Rebecca Yarrow's (extremely successful) Fourth Wing series in her recent Nebula-exclusive video. Apparently in the video Lindsay did a skit making fun of how Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome causes people's joints to fall out of their sockets by pulling a Barbie doll's arm off??? Note: Rebecca Yarros, like the protagonist of her series, suffers from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

I waver between wondering if Lindsay is just some unholy combination of dumb/bitchy/socially clueless a drunkard, or if she is intentionally sabotaging her own career by making stupid careless takes in videos to get herself cancelled. Again. When it comes to video essays, her heart clearly doesn't seem to be into it (hence, how sloppy, all over the place, and poorly researched all her recent videos have been). Not to mention, she clearly despises her internet fame and fandom.

Give me a sticker, but I can't help but feel that if Lindsay wasn't given all those Patreon simpbucks upon her first cancelation, she would have taken the L and quit Youtube/Nebula for good & settled into Upper Middle Class SAMH life. & by Upper Middle Class SAHM life, I mean volunteering at local charities/going on overseas missions/running a 4H club/joining the PTA - you know, stereotypical rich housewife pissing contest shenanigans.

I grew up with a stereotypical Upper Middle Class SAHM, so when I say that, I don't mean it in snarky way, either. If a woman is lucky enough to be in a financial position to not need to work, and enjoys motherhood, she shouldn't be shamed for giving up her career and just focusing on her children/her local community. 3rd wave Feminism lied - not every woman is cut out to be full time career #girllboss.

Lindsay thinks he's lying about being from Tennessee (which is ridiculous 'cause he literally has a Memphis accent!) because he's never been to Dollywood before. Since Lindsay is a drunk elitist, her entire argument is all real Tennessee-ans would have been to Dollywood on school trips/vacation. Note: Dollywood isn't cheap (I remember going as a kid and it cost my folks the same as a trip to Disney World; its daily ticket price is only slightly less than Disney). I learned from a Tumblr post made by one of Lindsay's a-loggers (...they really hate her over on Tumblr) that her grandpa ran (& possibly owned a stake in?) a FM Roan Mountain radio station - here's a link to an article about Lindsay's grandpa, who was apparently a local celebrity in the Roan Mountain area. So, yeah, Linz definitely didn't grow up struggling. Also, having a grandpa famous in radio could arguably make Lindsay a nepobaby.

Liberals will pretend to like anything if it means using it as a weapon to attack people they hate over it. Look at today's birth-right citizenship ruling. I'm officially labeling Lindsay as the female version of The Quartering. Both are middle aged babies who cry about childrens material, are serious alcoholics who get themselves into trouble with their Twitter addictions, play the victim and cry mob mentality/cancel culture when they get rightful pushback, and scam money from their respective audiences. The only difference is that they're on different ends of the political spectrum.

She's made little comments in the past that tell of a childhood of privilege where she got to go on vacations all the time. I've brought it up multiple times, but her criticisms of Jurassic World made it clear she assumed the parents just put the kids on a plane to the park without checking that Bryce Dallas Howard's character would be cool with it, despite that being the type of one-in-a-lifetime trip you'd need to coordinate and plan out ahead of time.

She genuinely doesn't get that people didn't grow up like this and can't wrap her drunken little head around it.
