Nolan's The Odyssey - Potentially could be epic or an epic flop.

It's sad. I can see Holland and the Twilight queer acting like fags, but I can't remember Damon ever being such a twink like this before in a movie or promotion.
Ironically the Twilight dude is probably less of a fag than Damon and Holland.

Any man who brings up the Tifa vs Aerith debate and spergs about it in front of Zoe Kravitz about how those 2 were peak love interest material and nothing recent can compare and then completely blows her off about it being toxic representation of women wins an autistic but not a faggot award from me.

There are no photos of Ellen Pooner so far.
It's funny that she's not there since this is being billed as "the leading men of The Odyssey". I'm guessing their excuse is that her part simply isn't big, but not long ago they'd probably would've included her either way. It's funny thinking how the tides have turned since this was put into production.

The male actors of the Odyssey had a photoshoot for GQ and the results are hideous soy faggotry

Exactly. No Elliot? Naughty naughty, Nolan. Naughty naughty.

I'm tired of the concept of somehow needing some level of pseudo-intellectual "media literacy" bolstered by interviews from the creatives to make sense of what a movie is supposed to be saying.
Are you trying to tell me, you don't want to hear what some faggot thinks about how some flower on a 2 second frame, meant all of the men in movie were secretly gay and got rammed in the ass all day, or that some sperg spent 5 hours writing up their personal thoughts but pass it off as fact, as to what the original meaning was?

I'm absolutely shocked and appalled that kiwifarms isn't a high IQ place compared to reddit, I plan to kill myself in a field now, and don't think i'll leave your names out of the suicide note.

I can't stand any of his movies past interstellar. It just seems like he has gone deaf so he just turns up the soundtrack to the point where its genuinely annoying to sit through one of his films as you either cannot hear the dialog or you have a fucking foghorn going off in your ear every few minutes
I would say that's true since The Dark Knight.

Hot dang, the US showings of the Odyssey going on sale managed to crash Fandango. Also, there are more locations showing Odyssey in 15/70mm in California than outside of NA.

I know nothing about cinema ticket sales but it's common in some other industries to deliberately under-provision in order to get headlines; or to buy stuff up yourself to pump the numbers. Example such as games companies under-provisioning servers so that "demand crashed the servers", album sales being bought to push the success (doesn't matter if you can get refunds or you're buying from yourself). Or just only putting things on sale at a subset of locations to make the buying up easier.

Oh that is very much true, but ever since Oppenheimer there has been more buzz around IMAX 70mm and people going after it. Especially with the cult surrounding Nolan. This phenomena has been seen with movies like Project Hail Mary frequently selling out with their 70mm showings. And there has definitely been headline stuff going on. The major locations did all receive early ticket sales a year in advance purposefully for headlines, and something similar was done for Dune Part 3.

Here's the popcorn bucket. This trend of these has been so lame to me, but whatever. $50 for this junk. No horse, nothing about the movie except the title.

ETA: I really wonder how many of these they made, but it wouldn't surprise me if a ton of lunatics did buy them up. People complain about how bad the economy is but always seems to have plenty of money for doordash and these kind of toys.
