So Nick gets to pretend to be a family man while he fucks around on the Internet, does marginally legal drugs, and obsesses about the Imholtes.

And he wants credit for being a better parent than Ralph.

The guy driving the loader stopped to make sure that he wasn't going to plow into someone who wouldn't have had time to stop, probably saw Nick at a distance where he should have had time to stop and went ahead. Anyone notice on the street view if there were any signs telling drivers to be aware of construction vehicles?
