So we’ll read two books before bed, the first can be whatever but the second one will always be Goodnight Moon. It sounds crazy but it actually worked for us.
Coincidentally we read that book last night and it was the last one as well and somehow they both between the 2am mark today. Either way I appreciate the answers from you and @Castoreum . I was genuinely getting MATI from all the copy and paste bullshit every search engine and AI was giving me.

I can't stand advice from most spaces online bc people are sanctimonious as all get out to get attention or sell something and AI is useless for things like this cuz most of the time it scrapes Reddit.

What helped me most was reassurance from my husband that I was doing just fine and that I wasn't sustaining permanent brain damage from sleep deprivation. As soon as I get a good night of sleep, my mental clarity and mood is like night and day.

Sleep deprivation is wild. I don’t usually realize how slow it makes me until I try to have a conversation with an adult who’s not my husband

Something I haven't seen mentioned in this thread and would really appreciate some advice on baby sleep issues. I got two 5 month old twins. One will sleep thru the night with only minor attending too and while the other consistently wants to be awake at 2 in the morning. Anyone else have advice on this? Its been going on for at least 5 weeks now.
Advice from someone who had more than one who just never slept, and who got woken up every hour at least for several years;
There is sometimes nothing you can do. People will give you all sorts of advice about sleep, making them sleep, routines, crying it out (I didn’t want to) and all sorts. Try whatever of that advice you feel suits you, BUT sometimes that is just how they are. It is a phase, it will pass, your job is just to survive until then.
Assume they aren’t going to sleep. They will be fine - what’s important is YOU getting sleep. So work out with husband, grandparents or whatever times when they will take them so you get an uninterrupted night or a few hours. I found that as long as I got a couple of nights a week with maybe 4 hours unbroken I was at least sane. Below that i started really struggling.

sorry for posting a lot, but I have a bit of a win to share. Officially done breastfeeding as of today! We did it for a little over 13 months and I’m so happy to wear clothes that aren’t made for nursing. Now I get to decide if my next step is to get pregnant and have one more or get a boob job. Leaning towards getting pregnant again and then getting a lift and small implants to reinflate them after breastfeeding that baby.

Of course totally up to you but give everything a couple of years to settle before you go for surgery. I found things changed a lot even a few years after I’d stopped. The breast tissue undergoes a huge process of remodelling / involution. How everything looks right after you stop isn’t how it looks at six months or a couple of years - you may be pleasantly surprised!
