Oh shit I forgotUniversal and Toho have had cinematic universes since the middle of the last century.

Pretty much all the Universal Monster crossovers were done in comedy films and most Godzilla films weren't brought to the West until fairly recently.Universal and Toho have had cinematic universes since the middle of the last century.
No, Toho monster movies were released in the USA pretty much nonstop since they started. There was a brief lull in the 90s but that's about it.Pretty much all the Universal Monster crossovers were done in comedy films and most Godzilla films weren't brought to the West until fairly recently.
Hm I could've sworn I heard they were pretty infrequently released back in the day. Ah well I'll take that L.No, Toho monster movies were released in the USA pretty much nonstop since they started. There was a brief lull in the 90s but that's about it.
Why do I bet anything white supremacist girl genuinely believes that nonsense? I've seen so many Disney/Nu Wars/MCU spergs admit liking only their mediocre movies because of politics "muh lesbian princess/Give Cap a Boyfriend/Stormpilot is Real/We are WAKANDAAAA"
I mean, Transformers and the Disney Remakes also make money, but only the most brandead of normies and SJWs like those movies. I don't think there's anybody out there who genuinely thinks Maleficent is better than the Godfather.
Like clockwork
Marvel Movies Have Earned More Than Double Scorsese and Coppola's Box Office Hauls Combined
Watching defenders of the MCU trying to develop comebacks and the best they can force out of their communal brain cell after having a good long hard thinkin' session is "E-endgame made a lot of m-m-money...the b-b-b-box office..."
Godfather is overrated. There are much better crime films imo. I do love the video game and the references to the franchise in media though.
The video game is awesome, but The Godfather Trilogy will always be the ultimate film trilogy to me for a reason.
(Although Goodfellas and Casino are better, with The Godfather Trilogy in a close second)
Fox DID try to make an X-men cinematic universe. All those films are, nominally, taking place in the same universe (barring time travel / alternate timeline shenanigans in DoFP). That universe didn’t fail because it wasn’t Disney, it failed because half of them (arguably more) were total trash, and there was zero effort into actually building a UNIVERSE.I do wonder if part of the reason people rabidly defend the MCU is the Disney brand.
If Fox or Sony had beaten them to the punch and made a cinematic universe surrounding the X-Men/FF and Spider-Man characters would we see the same die-hard fanboyism?
