Yup originally all she could do was turn invisible.
She also had invisible barriers and bubbles and shit. Essentially she was the Support class, Thing was the Tank, Torch was DPS, and Mr. Fantastic... I guess if we're running this analogy into the ground... was heals.

But yeah, over time they gave her OP drugs, so instead of just making barriers to protect the team, she could now suddenly displace planets, and instead of just having bubbles to... give the writers something to do with her... she could now suddenly create bubbles in people's veins to knock them out/ kill 'em.

Any case, I'm sure whenever they get around to introducing Sue, she'll no doubt have as many PhD's as Mr. Fantastic and will probably be the one to save all the boys.

It is typically not a good sign when the studio and the director have to resort to shaming their audience almost an entire two years before the movie is being released.

So Taika Waititi, a guy who has been met with pretty much universal praise from the fans, is now bashing the fans? Dude. Please stop.

When Thor: Ragnarok came out, who complained about Valkyrie and Hela? Nobody. Hela is definitely one of the most powerful MCU characters ... And nobody had an issue with it. And Cate Blanchett's delightfully hammy performance was really well-received. And Valkrie was very well received too.

But, yes, the fans all of the sudden, after all of the support they have given to the MCU altogether, are sexist because they don't want Chris Hemsworth's Thor to be replaced. Especially by Natalie Portman, who sucked in the first two Thor movies.

Want a female Asguardian hero to succeed Thor, Disney? Fine. There's Sif AND Valkyrie. But it's insulting when they decide to flat-out call someone else Thor (when Thor isn't even a proper title-- it's his fucking NAME).

You are going to watch it anyway because you're a brainwashed fangirl.
If you dislike it, Don't fucking watch it.

Calling me "brainwashed," even though I am being very critical of Marvel and have clearly expressed my disappointment about how Phase 4 is shaping up already multiple times ... I do believe I even literally said "I'm out, the MCU is done" in this thread when regarding the rumors about a woke Blade and that I would be selective about the movies I would go see.

But sure, call it "brainwashed" and go back to yelling at the sky.

I'm just simply calling it out as I see it. A lot of people believe those that say they are done aren't being serious. You gotta prove to them that you are. You can do that can't you?

How can I, an anonymous nobody on the internet, PROPERLY prove it to you, your majesty? A blood oath? lol.

You are an absolute unit.

Sorry someone's gotta shame these mindless sheep who support this disgusting agenda to basically get rid of white people from entertainment. Entertainment that's not even that fucking good.
You are such a fucking autist.

All you do in this thread is pick fights with anyone who doesn't autistically hate on popcorn capeshit like you do.

StarkRavingMad was even complaining about woke marketing bullshit and you still tardraged at her.

Is Billy D Usher your brother or something?

Why are you so bothered that someone has common sense? Coming from the same guy who lied about Captain Marvel being some super popular IP with girls that doesn't shock me.
You people ALWAYS complain about wokeness coming from Disney and how it will infect the MCU like it did the comics, but you will still go and see them because for some reason you just COULDN'T RESIST seeing them because it had one of your favorite characters or a friend made you watch it. Even though it's forgettable and half arsed you still can't just say no to seeing them.

And then there is of course the fact these movies are going to be quantity over quality from here on out. Not only are they making it mandatory to sign up to the Disney+ service (unless you're smart and know how to use other ways of getting this content) but they are going full force into this diversity bullshit especially if you look at how much racebending they are doing with the Eternals (which is going to be shit) and of course that Thor movie which we know nothing about aside from Female Thor and Valkyrie being gay. How the fuck is that supposed to be interesting to the general public aside from frothing at the mouth SJWs and blue checkmark journos? It sounds fucking boring. Then again that's fitting for Thor because his movies have always been boring, even the badly edited and poorly paced Thor Ragnarok was. It's going to be trash.

But anyway, the reason I do this is because people need to be told the freaking truth if they keep paying money to see these movies DESPITE how disrespectful and racist/sexist the people making them are being to the audience and source material, yet they keep going to see them. "HURR DUURRR YOU'RE A BUTTMAD WHITE NATIONALIST" I don't give a shit about having black characters, I give a shit about the raceswapping garbage they are pushing down people's throats and how awfully written they are. And Black Panther sucked, not because black people, but because it was a rushed, boring, soulless and hypocritical movie that ironically was pretty racist to both white people and black people (Gorilla noises from black people, seriously?). And also the humour these fucking movies have ruins the fucking tone constantly. None of them feel "real" or "cinematic" in how they are written and paced now, they feel like an edited down movie of a tv miniseries with awkward humor thrown in to distract the audience from how boring the thing they are watching is. It's boring trash, it can't either go full blown over the top and wacky, or sincere and gritty, it tries to do both but it makes it bland in the process because they can't balance it well at all. The only comedic ones I really liked were GotG 1 and 2, and those movies knew what they were quite well and succeeded because of it. But the rest try to play it both ways and fail at it.

Like seriously. The MCU is going to die soon, not right now or in the next year, but give it 5 years and you will see it seriously start to fall apart. I'm sure some blindly optimistic people who hate crackas will tell me "B-But they ahve been saying Superhero Fatigue was setting in since Age of Ultron!!!" but the thing is the Infinity Saga wasn't finished then, so there was still a pull for the audience to keep watching. But it's over now so the fatigue has a real chance of setting in eventually now. And hell, Spider-Man Far From Home has already lost it's momentum at the box office and will likely settle at around $1.1billion at most. Not terribly impressive all things considered. Black Widow will probably be more middling since it's a prequel with no ties to any big Avengers movies, and she's already dead in the movies, so who the fuck knows. It's gonna be politically correct trash if the show runner has anything to go by.

But yeah like, these movies have had their day. I know some of you have grown used to these being the only movies you see in the cinema, but I'm sorry, other movies exist and deserve the lime light. It's time for these movies to fade away and for something else to take their place. Hopefully not owned by Disney or soulless remakes.

Good god look at all that 'tism jesus christ.

Coming from the same guy who lied about Captain Marvel being some super popular IP with girls

Again, that was me. Again, like with the Scarlet Witch thing, you proceeded to ignore it.

At any rate, I love how your big bold statement is "At some point people won't like capeshit as much anymore", and then give yourself a window of half a decade give or take before we start to see any sign of that happening. Like 2028 rolls around and you revive this thread to gleefully announce "Ah see?! See?! Barely scratched 900 mill! And who told you so?!".

Like this statement here is full on fucking retardery;

Spider-Man Far From Home has already lost it's momentum at the box office and will likely settle at around $1.1billion at most. Not terribly impressive all things considered.

Like if you don't understand what a 'tard you look like gleefully celebrating "Heh, only a billion?!", I don't know what to tell you. I assure you The Mouse has very different expectations for these films than you do though and is certainly not in panic mode.

Oh wait hold on, in a decade or so they'll (possibly) stop making a billion. Right, excuse me for my ignorance.

I think Black Widow will do very well. Johansson is a box office draw. Plus the outrage over her death struck a chord. I'm interested to see how they pull it off especially since it will be the first mcu film starring a superhero who technically lacks superpowers.

Again, go back to yelling at the sky. And go yell even louder when you inevitably see a cloud that looks like Brie Larson.

Are they already pulling a Ghostbusters with this shit?

Late reply, apologies, but yeah another one of those "if you care about a sane society, you HAVE to love this movie, or you're too much of a doomer" or someshit.

It happens so much so that, if I ever actually get to watching anything other than Infinity War and Endgame, that I don't know what I'm supposed to be promoting if there are any aspects I openly like about those movies and whatever happens now with nu-phase.

Emphasis on "supposed to be promoting"...

Depends on which version. I think the Ultimate one had genetic and cybernetic enhancements.

Apparently they are saying it's the darkest film yet. Now obviously it can't get rated R because Disney but considering Nat has the darkest origin story of everyone else, parts of which we will see in the film, I'm wondering which MCU film before hers was considered the darkest? Winter Soldier?
