fucking colourpop. Do I have 4 tiers of makeup? yes. Do I NEED more makeup? absolutely not. Are they having a ridiculous sale? Yes. Did I remember that I do not need any makeup? $160 would say that I didn't remember.
I feel you, fren. They've sucked me in more times than I care to admit.

Hot.

That reminds me. With the return of face masks, does anyone have any recommendations on shit one could wear as a protest mask? I'm already only wearing them when I absolutely have to (e.g. If I need to go in a bank) but sometimes it feels like my gaiter with an offensive print just isn't doing the job. I was considering grabbing a niquab and then dressing in shorty-shorts and a tank, but there's probably a better way...
Could you not, if you have the abilities and time, make one out of fishnet or a similar mesh material with a fairly open weave?

Paris Hilton isn't a fan of masks either it seems @NoReturn.

I only wear mens jeans they only ever have the tag on the front left pocket. Sorry I think you're SOL on this one.
I don't bother repairing jeans anymore. You can't just sew a hole up in jeans. The fabric literally can't hold so you have to patch it and then it just looks ugly and so out of place. After my jeans tear, it's just not worth it.
You should look up visible mending and sashiko, it's trendy right now.

@Dobbys Spare Sock pointed out some of the brands that have been sending PR to Tess Holliday.
Anyone know anything about them?
Peach and Lily was originally just an American k-beauty retailer but they launched their own line of products. Their most well-known product is called Glass Skin Refining Serum. They mostly have nice packaging and trendy products at more of a luxury price point (at least when compared to most k-beauty). They just started getting sold at Ulta recently.

Any product to get rid of my fucking hyperpigmentation all over my pimpled face?
My store just started selling "Dermageek" products and the niacinamide cream is like 20USD. Not cheap, but may be useful to try.

It depends, can you get a prescription? The prescription-grade hydroquinone is the best
Otherwise.
Niacinamide
AHA
BHA
Liquorice root
Azelaic acid
Green tea
Panthenol
Hyaluronic acid
Kojic acid
Vitamin C
Retinoid
Arbutin (derivative of hydroquinone)

Any product with at least 5% niacinamide is effective according to clinical studies. I'm iffy to recommend 10% like The ordinary and other cheap brands have made a standard for, because more isn't necessarily better and irritation can make hyperpigmentation worse.

My skin was fine until i started shedding off a satanic amount of weight i gained when i was younger mainly because i started taking meds and fucking haes grabbed me by their freaking tentacles and i was almost 90kg.
I think it is hormones fluctuation. When i was younger i used to be so dumb...

Drink more water. It's a cliche for a reason, especially when losing weight.

I bought some new perfumes from Lush recently, Lord of Misrule and Lord of Goathorn which i've never had before, and Breath of God which is a favourite of mine. Very smoky, hevay scents because I do like to smell like a housefire.

I tested Lord of Goathorn on a strip in the shop and it seemed nice enough, reminded me of the sea which completely sold it for me, because I've recently moved to a landlocked city having lived on the coast my whole life and I miss the sea awfully. I bought the big bottle, took it home, sprayed some on myself and immediately gagged. It has a super strange initial smell, but as it sinks into your skin it changes and becomes very salty, smoky, like dry seaweed. It's an interesting smell, very evocative. It's strong too, which is good because it was very pricey, so I won't have to use too much. I'd never had something like it before, it's fascinating.

Lord of Misrule is nice enough too, a little lighter and less surprising. A guy on the bus complimented me on it (?), so I suppose that's as good a reassureance as any that It works for me.

@admiral I'm so glad you mentioned Lush's Breath of God, that's my all-time favorite. I recently tried Smuggler's Soul, but I'm undecided if I like it or not. I thought it'd be more woodsy, but in all honesty it kind of smells like Dawn dish detergent. Maybe I just got a bad batch. If you like sea scents, I'd suggest their Breath of Fresh Air toner.

I’ve used their Glass Skin serum and I was very into it until I realized the active ingredient that was helping my skin was niacinamide, so I cut out the middle man and started buying the niacinamide + zinc serum from TO.

That’s the stand out product from the brand and it’s still overpriced and a relatively small amount inside that deceptive little pump bottle (always look at ounces etc not size of product when shopping because packaging lies).

As far as K beauty lines sold at Ulta, CosRX is pretty awesome and a bit cheaper.

Snail mucin takes some time to get used to if you’re a texture person, but it does help to plump and hydrate.
CosRX has both a snail mucin essence (good for normal to oily skin) and snail mucin gel (good for normal to dry skin).
