I caved and bought the too faced gingerbread spice palette.. because.. I'm still a sucker for dumb branding and especially seasonal stuff.. and well, I thought the colors were nice, of course. Trying it the first time today, and the colors I used came out a lot more orange than I thought they would be (and this was without using the obviously orange shade)
I didn't feel that way when I swatched it. I'll keep trying it and see how I feel. I was hoping it would be another winner than I use a lot, like the Bon Bons palette.
My favorite products lately:
Missha Cho Bo Yang BB Cream -really good coverage. This might be my new favorite BB cream.
Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence sunscreen - this is the best sunscreen I've ever used. Has no oily, sticky or unpleasant texture. I wear it every day.
Too Faced Bons Bons Palette - I use some shades from this every day. I used to use Anastasia eyebrow powder in dark brown for my brows, but since I ran out of that I just started using one of the dark brown shades from this palette for an eyebrow powder.. it works fine and doesn't look much different, tbh. I ended up liking almost all the brown shades from this a lot more than I thought I would. I bought this in March, I think? And I still really enjoy using it and creating different looks.
Too Faced peach my cheeks melting powder blush - I like cream blush a lot, when it blends well ofc. This blends very nicely, and the color is great. It's pretty expensive for a single color of blush, IMO.. I've been waiting for it to show up at Marshall's to get it in different colors, if it ever appears there.
I also bought more lolita crap lately, including a(nother) winter/holiday theme main piece and
this pochette, as well as some berets.
I was pretty happy yesterday; I wore a simple outfit with a baby, the stars shine bright dress in public and a lot of people said they loved my dress and outfit, without asking if it's a costume or why I'm dressed up.
I'm trying to make more everyday-friendly coordinates, instead of mitchy matchy stuff that looks perfect for instagram and facebook, which I don't post on anyway.
I'm really curious to hear how the eyeliner stamp works out! I have a love hate relationship with winged eyeliner. Right now, I use MAC gel eyeliner for winged liner.
